Search the inside of the hut

"Fortune favors the bold..." you tell youtself as you grip your sword tightly and take a deep breath. Then you walk through the doorway and enter the hut... and are greeted by bright light as multiple runes on the walls start glowing. For a brief moment you are blinded, having not expected this, then you get used to the light. You recognize the runes as a variation of the Light spell you already know.

With the inside illuminated it is now easy to search the place - but what you find waiting for you leaves you quite disappointed. It is clear that long ago a battle took place here, and afterwards the survivors fled in a hurry, never to return. They seem to have taken anything of value that was not destroyed during the fighting, leaving behind the remains of whetever furniture was there.

I hope they forgot something... You think as you begin to search through the trash.

Ten minutes later you feel confident you have searched everywhere inside. To your pleasant surprise it was not in vain - you found a few things of interest. First you discovered a pair of potions - one healing and one mana potion. They seem to have fallen down during the fighting, but have remained intact and can be used, if necessary.

The second thing was a pouch with a small stone inside it. A rune is engraved on the stone. After examining it carefully you were able to determine that the small stone is a Rune Keystone - an item used to unlock some types of magical locks the way regular keys unlock regular locks. Depnding on the type of lock a single keystone might be enough, or you might need several. Seeing nothing you can unlock with it right now you just pocked the keystone for later.

The last thing of interest you discovered is not an object you can take. In the center of the hut's only room, covered by trash, you found a circle. Inside the circle is another teleportation rune, different from the one that brought you to the forest. This is most likely the means by which the hut's previous inhabitant left.

As you examine the rune you hear a sound from outside. You check and see a pair of rabbits passing by... and you discover that the sourroundings have changed.

The trees are largely the same as before, so you seem to still be in the same forest. However, the overgrown path that led you to the abandoned hut is definitely not the same. It is now wider, not as overgrown with plants, and it splits in two after a short distance - one path goes forward and to the right, the other path goes forward and to the left.

You spend a bit longer searching the hut and its surroundings, but find nothing else, and no futher changes to the area occure.

Great. What do I do now? Should I follow one of the new paths, or should I try the teleportation rune?
