Follow the mage.

Your group arrives at a strangely run-down house that certainly doesn't look special enough to be a guildhall for anything but a thieves' guild. Though, you see the twist from a mile away. It's a guild of presumably the most powerful mages on the continent, so naturally they would have something setup like this. The moment you step through the door, you gaze around at the inside of a lavishly decorated tower. The main hall is made of stone, though a lush purple carpet covers much of the floor and extends onwards to the stairs. A few different scholars are reading from books taken from the various shelves around the room, and are silently scribbling on papers among desks.

"I request that we not take everybody to speak with the others. The rest can stay in this room in the meantime," Lord Beela says.

"It probably won't be that interesting anyway, guys. How about me and Eva go?" you suggest. I don't like meddling, but Eva should probably stop isolating herself so much from her dad or she'll never be happy with him.

The others agree. Her father nods and begins guiding the two of you up the steps.

After quite the climb, you finally arrive at a wooden door that he pushes through, and on the other side is an expansive room with a table in the center covered in papers and maps. There are chairs around it, where currently one other gentleman rests. You recognize him immediately.

Lord Barkis, the old man with a bald head and long white beard garbed in a golden robe you met a ways back on a previous quest looks to you as you enter.

"You're a part of the Circle?" Eva asks.

He strokes a hand through his lengthy beard. "I am, yes. It's good to see you both again."

"Ah. You already know each other. That's unexpected," Rada says as he pulls up a seat and gestures you to do the same.

"I have a feeling I know why Kyle is here, and I don't mean because of that little witch quest. But it's a pleasure to meet you again. Let me properly introduce myself this time. I am Lord Drev Barkis, nineteenth level enchanter and a chairman here at the Circle."

You sit next to Eva across from them. "I know you couldn't do much to help me with my issue before, but maybe the Circle of the Unicorn has the power to do something, especially after our whole group risked our lives to put a stop to that ghost's attacks."

"That's fair enough. While I know already, please ask for the sake of my associate here."

You place your hands on the table and take a deep breath. "Well, it's not really a secret anymore. I'm from another world. It isn't that I want to abandon this life and head back per se, but I really want to know why I'm here. I have no idea how I got here. Not only that, but my class is completely unknown to me. I keep getting weird new powers as I level."

"I didn't know that part."

Rada grunts. "That's worrying. Debt owing aside, this could be something dangerous."

"Fascinating too," Drev says. "I'd like to know more. If you don't oppose, we could take a closer and more mystical look at your body and mind. Maybe we can find something. If what you say is true, surely we will."

Eva grabs your arm. "You two better not do anything weird to him."

"I wouldn't dream of it. I actually have an idea already. I'll need a couple more of your friends to help, but if an inspection of your physical form doesn't tell us enough, I know what should give us something to work with."
