Chapter 9 by brambank brambank

Where should Leanne go?

Follow the corridor

Leanne continued hastily down the corridor until she reached a doorway. Peering through the small window she could see it led outside, but in her current state of undress she was overly keen on going out into the chilly October air. Then again she didn't want to be caught by the old woman or the staff member either.

Preferring to remain out of sight, Leanne pushed the door and stepped through to the outside. With a loud bang the door slammed shut behind her. Leaving her trapped in the chilly afternoon air.

With her arms wrapped tightly around her naked chest Leanne observed her surroundings. Luckily she was at the rear of Rosefield Manor, so at least she was hidden from the general public. There was a large grassy area with a thick bush circling the grounds. In this temperature she didn't want to stand around forever so set off in search of somewhere to hide or a way back into the building.

She kept close to the building for fear of being spotted. That would be all she needed. As she peered around the next corner she was surprised by what she saw. The depressing grey headstones of the Rosefield Manor cemetery.

"Do they bury their old residents here?" she wondered aloud.

With little point in going back Leanne was **** to head into the graveyard. Which would have been creepy at the best of times but felt so much worse in such minimal clothing.

As she stepped carefully among the cold stones she spotted a figure at the far side of the graveyard. Whoever it was had their back to her and was staring at the ground. They obviously hadn't seen her. She thought about approaching them. Maybe they'd help her out or give her that long coat they were wearing. Then again maybe they'd complain to the staff that they were being harassed by a topless girl walking around in just her panties.

She continued watching until the figure suddenly turned and stared in her direction. With a silenced exclamation she quickly ducked down. Crouching beside the nearest headstone and hiding from view. She stayed motionless and quiet for a few minutes. Her breath visible in the cool air as she waited anxiously.

All around her was quiet except for the tweeting of birds and distant cars. Then she heard footsteps. Quiet at first but gradually becoming louder as they moved nearer to her secret location. With each crunch on the solid dirt Leanne cringed. Trying her best to make herself smaller and somehow invisible. She peered around the corner of the gravestone but there was no sign of the mystery person.

Then she saw them. A noise caused her to turn her head and there she saw the unknown figure just a few metres away. Trying to stifle her squeak of surprise, Leanne crept around the other side of the gravestone and pressed her back tight against the cold stone.

Her breathing was rapid but she gained enough courage to peer out in search of the person standing so close. Again they had their back to her so she had no idea who they might be. Just that long coat hiding whatever was underneath.

As she watched carefully Leanne felt a tugging on her other arm. She was so focused on the figure that she tried to ignore it, but it soon became more persistent. Turning her head to address whatever it was she was horrified to see a disembodied arm. She was so terrified that her resulting scream made no sound. Her mouth was wide open but no noise could be emitted. The arm was coming from the pile of dirt where she crouched. She tried in vain to pry it away but the grip was firm.

Suddenly there was more grabbing. This time from the other side. Both her arms were now held as she as pinned back against the chilly stone surface. She thought about crying for help but with the only person within earshot a mysterious figure she wondered if it would only end in something more terrible.

Instead she fought against the horrible hands. Thrashing around, hoping to loosen their grip. She managed to free herself from one side and immediately turned trying to escape the second. But before she could a third hand clawed its way through the hardened dirt and grasped her leg. She gave an involuntary shriek and kicked frantically. If the unknown person was still nearby then they surely would have heard her by now.

The distraction of the hand on her leg had allowed her arm to be restrained once more. She was pulled back against the hard stone. Leanne gave another shriek as the hands began to crawl over her chest. The two disembodied hands groping her soft flesh and caressing her perfect mounds. She fought ever more frantically now but with the other hand still holding her leg it was too difficult.

Movement to her left caught her eye and Leanne stared horrified as the earth began to shift as though something underneath was trying to come up. Then it appeared. First one hand and then a second. They clawed their way free from the broken dirt until a face appeared. A horrible face of nightmares. It's flesh eaten away leaving minimal identifying features of what may have once been a human.

Leanne screamed as she stared at it and the undead thing roared back. She began struggling to break free once more, but the thing was already have way out from where it had been entombed. Kicking her leg frantically she was able to end the grasp around her ankle. She fought viciously and escaped one hand on her breast. Now though the undead creature was almost fully free itself and crawling slowly towards her.

With her free hand she slapped the remaining disembodied hand from her and turned to flee, but the approaching thing dove for her. Grabbing her soft flesh around her thigh and pinning her back to the dirt.

She kicked and punched and screamed for all she was worth. Connecting with a hard punt to the jaw of the undead being. This gave her an opportunity to get free of the terrible thing and quickly she turned. Scrambling to her feet and fleeing. Near naked and frightened.

There was no sign of the mystery person from before but that didn't concern Leanne now. She only wanted to get away from the horrible undead monstrosity. Looking back she could see it slowly rising. Following by several more appearing from other newly disturbed graves. Pressing onwards she spotted a large mausoleum. The door was open and there was no sign of any movement.

What should Leanne do?
