Chapter 6 by lightsout lightsout

What's next?

Follow the Miss Henley to her Office

Josh felt a secret thrill at the way the new rules had made Miss Henley tower over him. Despite his unspoken excitement, company policy was clear and unyielding. As his department head, she commanded his immediate presence in her office, and he followed dutifully, even as he relished the chance to see her in her new, commanding role.

The feeling as Josh would describe it was akin to being a middle schooler being escorted by a teacher the principal's office, especially now that Miss Henley loomed over him with her newfound height. The disparity made him feel small and somewhat intimidated, a stark reminder of his childhood, even as he followed her with a mix of **** respect and hidden excitement.

Following Miss Henley to her office offered Josh an unobstructed view of her every stride. The swaying of her sexy ass, framed by Miss Henley's thick thighs, was a constant reminder of the confidence she exuded, capturing his attention more than he cared to admit.

Josh tried to focus on anything else, but his attention kept drifting. The subtle sway of Miss Henley’s hips was almost mesmerising, as though each step was deliberately measured, in an effort to draw his gaze despite his efforts to look away, or at least no openly ogle.

Now he also couldn’t shake the feeling that Miss Henley’s deliberate movements were more than just casual. Her height advantage seemed to amplify the contrast, making him appear even smaller by comparison. The way she carried herself—confident and composed—hinted that she might be well aware of the effect she was having, and Josh couldn’t help but wonder if she was playing a subtle game with him.

Josh was unsure whether Miss Henley’s behavior was a deliberate attempt to get him fired for staring at her ass, or just a side effect of her newfound assertiveness. If it was the former, he realized he would need to find a way to navigate this predicament—perhaps by exploring solutions through the app he had on hand.

When they reached her office, Miss Henley waited for Josh to step inside before quietly closing the door. She moved to each window, pulling down the blinds one by one, blocking out the view from both inside and outside. A moment later, she hung a 'Meeting in Progress' sign on the door, the final touch to seal the room in an air of privacy.

Josh’s stomach twisted. He had never warranted this level of formality before, and the unsettling thought crept in—either he was about to be fired, or something far more unexpected was about to unfold.

For once, he found himself hoping it was the former.

To Josh’s surprise—and perhaps excitement—Miss Henley didn’t take her usual seat behind the desk. Instead, she perched herself on the edge of it, one leg crossed over the other. The casualness of the gesture contrasted with the closed-off room, and Josh couldn’t help but wonder if there was something more suggestive in her choice of posture, though he wasn’t sure whether to read too much into it.

From her elevated position, Miss Henley looked down at him, forcing Josh to look up. The angle gave him an rather dangerous but generous view of her exposed boobs, her blouse unbuttoned just enough to blur the lines between casual and something more deliberate, though that took into account the size of those jugs. The suggestive undertones of the moment began to outweigh any idea of mere professionalism in Josh’s mind.

The office was quiet, the usual buzz of activity long gone. Most of the team, including his own, had yet to clock on for the day, leaving the building nearly empty. Aside from a few distant sounds, it was just the two of them, alone in the quiet space.

"I hope you’ve had a productive day, Mr. West," Miss Henley began, her voice sliding into a sultry purr that sent a chill down Josh’s spine. The way she addressed him—Mr. West—instead of his first name or even just West was a form of naming he had learned to associate with trouble, the kind of trouble he usually wanted to avoid. But this time, there was something different in the way she said it, a lingering note that made him wonder if this was a different kind of trouble altogether—something far less professional than he’d feared.

"I have, Miss Henley—" Josh started, but his words were cut off as she raised a long, manicured finger to his lips. The touch was light, almost delicate, yet commanding enough to silence him instantly.

"Sherryl," she corrected softly, her tone intimate in the quiet room. "When we’re alone like this, call me Sherryl. In fact," she added with a faint smile, "I’d prefer if you called me that in front of everyone else too."

Sherryl’s lips curled into a sly smile, her voice warm and low. "It’s early, Josh. No one’s here yet, and they won’t be for a few hours," she remarked, her eyes lingering on him. "Even though you’ve worked under me for years, I realized I hardly know you at all. I was thinking we should change that—get to know each other better."

A shiver ran down Josh’s spine at her words, the weight of implication clear.

Sherryl leaned back slightly, her tone turning almost conspiratorial. "The office is soundproof, and unless someone buzzes through my desk, we won’t be disturbed."

"I’ve noticed that attractive, shorter men like you often have polyamorous tendencies," Sherryl remarked, her fingers casually slipping the buttons of her blouse free. "But when I looked into your file, I saw you were single. That surprised me."

"Miss—" Josh began, catching himself. "Sherryl," he corrected, his eyes drifting to her now partially open blouse and what it revealed. "What exactly are you suggesting?"

Sherryl leaned in slightly, her tone matter-of-fact. "A relationship between a man and a woman isn’t against company policy," she explained, watching his reaction closely. Josh’s mind raced, certain that wasn’t the case yesterday. Maybe the new rule changes had redefined more than he realized.

"In fact," she continued, her voice dropping, "men like you are actually encouraged to, let’s say, engage with as many staff members as possible. It’s a retention strategy, with bonuses for... results, each bonus, they also increase ach one doubling with the number you keep and bring in, with the first being at twice that of your annual salary of $58,094.40, and a halving of your work hours while keeping your current salary as it."

Josh blinked, caught off guard by the predatory nature of the company’s so-called policy. He shouldn’t have been surprised, given how the company operated, but this still felt like a step beyond.

"That being said," Sherryl continued, her voice softening, "the company is hoping to convince you to, well, use your attractiveness to make certain key employees feel more... inclined to stay." She paused, eyes lingering on him. "They thought if I was the one to make the request, you’d comply, since I’m your department head."

She hesitated for a moment before adding, "But given that you’re single, I was hoping I could be the first of the women you... keep in the company."

"The first?" Josh asked, raising an eyebrow. "You don’t strike me as the type to share."

"I’m not," Sherryl admitted with a faint sigh. "But given my own lack of success in relationships, I’d be content being the first, if not the only. That said," she added, her tone growing more personal, "if you do agree, I’d like to spend more time with you—both during and outside of work."

Sherryl’s smirk deepened, her lips parting ever so slightly, their softness almost daring him to close the distance. "I’m sure we can find ways to make good use of our time together," she murmured, her voice dripping with suggestion. "And we can always discuss those targets of yours along the way."

She leaned in closer, her face now just inches from his, her breath warm against his skin. "So tell me, Josh," she purred, her tone smooth and teasing, "will you accept?"

So does Josh accept?
