The British woman holds her device in the direction of the resort and it ticks up slightly and she seems pleased, starting to walk in that direction. Curious, you follow behind her at a distance. It's a good thing that at this time of day, a lot of people are going to and from the resort, so it's quite normal for you to be going the same way, even though the woman seems oblivious to you or any other person for that matter. Strangely, as you follow her, the trail reminds you of when you first got to the island.
When she gets to the resort, the woman goes to the front desk to get a room. It doesn't appear that she has a prior reservation, although she asks for the most expensive room immediately, which is unavailable since you're the occupant. Undaunted, she asks for the next best room and you see her pull out a black credit card from her pocket. It looks like money is not an issue for her, though it does make you wonder even more what she's doing here.
Manuel, who works at the resort, then goes over to offer to show the woman to her cabin. Watching them go, you decide to give her some space and take a break from following her, heading to the bar for 1 of your many daily cocktails that have become part of your island routine.
