Follow Lizette

Just as Lizette is about to start walking a hole appears into the ceiling. She aims her shotgun at it, ready to shoot whatever tentacle that comes from it. Instead she sees a pair of shoes come down. Not any kind of shoes but military boots. Attached to those shoes are green military pants, making Lizette realize a person is coming down. When the rest of the body comes down Lizette sees there is a tentacle wrapped around the waist. It brings the person all the way down, until her feet touch the ground. Then it lets go of her and disappears back into the ceiling.

The person standing in front of Lizette is a woman. She’s wearing the same military outfit as the Rose Squadron does with the sole exception of two large holes cut into the shirt, leaving her breasts bare for all to see. She also has white hair and her irises are pure red.

Lizette lowers her shotgun, relaxes her stance and says, “Hello Lydia Northwell.”

“I see you’re carrying a box.” Lydia replies. “Any chance that’s a gift from Melissa?”

“You mean Doctor Pario?” Lizette asks. “It is.”

Lydia holds out her hand and says, “Give it to me.”

Lizette opens the box. Inside it is not a transmitter like she previously told her troops but 10 syringes. Lizette takes two and hands them to Lydia.

“Tests showed light infection gets cured immediately. Medium infection takes a while for the cure to take effect. Heavy and complete infection is either cured or it isn’t.” Lizette explains. "Provided your friend hasn't been claimed by any of the other Towerlings in this place."

“You’re joking, right?” Lydia says. “I wanted a cure not a gamble.”

“Cures take time to be made.” Lizette says angrily. “This is the best we can do in such a short time. You want a better option, you'll need to wait.”

Lydia takes a good look at the syringes and ponders her options.

“If they don’t work, you’ll see me again.” She says.

“Understandable.” Lizette replies. “Now, you know why I'm here, so where is it?”

“I’m sorry,” Lydia says mockingly. “The deal was if I got the cure I wouldn’t stand in your way, not that I would help you. And since there's only a chance this will even work, that means there is only a chance that I won't knock you up personally.”

“I have risked my LIFE to get this stuff here!” Lizette says angrily. “I have seen friends get raped by monsters, taken away to become brood mothers. I sacrificed my team members to get this shit to you. I even got infected myself. What, you think my boobs are naturally this big?! The least you can do is tell me where I can find that god damned room.”

The more she talks, the more Lizette raises her voice until she nearly yells. The more Lydia gets yelled at, to more she frowns her eyebrows in disgust. Lydia's well aware that Lizette doesn't even care about the "Sacrifices" she had to make to get here. This is the kind of woman that wants to try and perform ‘Creation’? What a joke.
