Chapter 20 by brambank brambank

What should Leanne do?

Follow Abbie

Leanne wasn’t sure what to do. There was no reason for her not to trust Abbie, but she was still wary after everything that had happened. It was the young blonde who’d taken her to Dr Seward in the first place. Although she wasn’t sure if Abbie knew how far that would go. Either way Leanne didn’t want to be left alone in an unknown room right now so quickly turned and chased after the young blonde.

She headed down the corridor in the same direction she’d seen Abbie leave. She had to walk a little quick to catch up and her naked breasts jiggled with each step as her high heels crunched on the aged carpet. She spotted her just up ahead and was about to follow her around the corner when she heard Abbie speaking with someone.

Leanne froze where she was. Abbie had already seen her practically naked, but she had no idea who this other person was and they might not be so understanding. Leanne also didn’t want them perving on her exposed body so decided to play it safe and listen to their conversation.

She wasn’t sure but the other voice sounded male, although it was hushed and very quiet. It was difficult to pick out any words but from the fragments she could hear they were talking about someone in particular. Leanne wondered if it was Dr Seward, or maybe even her. Eventually her curiosity got the better of her and Leanne cautiously crept forwards to the corner of the corridor. She edged herself along the wall with her back pressed tight against it listening for the sound of anyone coming nearer. Her heart was racing as she anxiously peered around the corner to see Abbie with her back to her speaking to a tall shadowy figure.

Leanne couldn’t make out the guy’s face as he seemed to be stood in permanent darkness. His hair was long and black and he wore a dark cloak that covered most of his body. He towered over Abbie and there was a menacing presence to him. Leanne got a chill just by looking at him. She had no idea how Abbie could just stand there talking so calmly.

And yet as the young woman watched the pair of them, her eyes fixed on the tall man, she felt a pounding in her chest. It was as though she was drawn to him and could barely look away. She’d been watching him closely for a few minutes when she felt as though his eyes were staring right back at her.

She glanced up and saw a pair of intense blue eyes gazing through the darkness in her direction. The young woman gasped in shock and just as before she darted back around the corner Leanne was sure she saw a toothy grin spread across his shadowy features. She was breathing rapidly as she pressed her body against the wall. Leanne listened closely in case either of them approached her secluded position, but there was no sound other than her own breathing and her beating heart thumping heavily in her naked chest.

Leanne didn’t dare move for several minutes, however when she checked again the corridor was empty. With no sign of either Abbie or the mysterious stranger. Once more she was all alone in the quiet gloomy hallway.

Where should Leanne go?
