Fly towards the city of Bearshield

The city of Bearshield had the most humans of any place within several days' flight. There would be more defenses there of course, but they were human defenses, so you weren't all that worried.

Bearshield was the capital of the kingdom you were in, so in addition to having a variety of options, you could go straight for the top and kidnap the local princess. Or princesses? You hadn't actually paid enough attention to know how many there were for sure, but you know you'd heard someone mention at least one.

Alternatively, many dragons added to their hoards by demanding tribute from mortal settlements. They certainly had enough people to spare, though they would probably raise some outrage about morals that you would need to threaten or charm your way past.

As the walls of the city came into sight, it occurred to you that living hoards could try to escape, and you might want to pick up some supplies to deal with that while you were here.

Or you could start small and investigate that wagon broken down by the side of one of the roads into the city.
