Chapter 156 by CaptainPulse
What's the first step?
Flush out the badness
Brightra placed her hand on the surface of the water in the teacup. As the water began to ripple out from her palm, she turned to Tina and Hilda and said, "First thing's first, we have to get Rey's spell residue out of you."
"Rey's what?" Tina asked incredulously?
"When Rey cast her shrinking spell on you, she left some magic on you to maintain it. While it's still in you, our mages can't reverse the curse, so we'll have to get it out beforehand."
Hilda looked at the queen quizzically. "That's funny. I never had that problem when you all cursed me."
"That's because we didn't curse you, Hildy." Brightra giggled. "Curses are indefinite; we just played with you a bit. But the best way to remove a curse..." As she spoke, two tendrils formed out of the water and reached down towards the shrunken humans. "Is to wash it out."
Before either of them could react, the water tendrils wrapped around Hilda and Tina's waists and lifted them off the ground. Hilda's hands flew to cover her ladyhood, more for safety than modesty, while Tina found herself flipped upside-down as the tendril pulled her into the teacup. "Don't you da-GRBBLLRBBL!" she angrily screamed as she was dunked into the water headfirst and slurped up by the watery tendril.
Brightra giggled. "Bye, Hi-Hi! Enjoy your morning bath!"
Hilda blushes bright red as her feet hit the water. "Oh, my..." The knight muttered as she was swallowed up and the water's surface settled back to a still reflection.
Brightra beamed as her guards looked at the water, concernedly. "Should, uhh... should we prepare for their return, your ladyship?"
"Oh, they won't come out here, silly." Brightra said playfully. "I'll send Captain Greane to fetch them; she has such a kind touch."
The guards looked at each other quizzically for a moment before her majesty skipped merrily out of the garden and into the porcelain palace. The man sighed before turning to follow her, but the woman lingered for a moment before following suit, wondering where the queen's human playthings were going to turn up.
Tina was pondering such a question herself as she was pulled through the magical weave, as it were. She was pulled to and fro, her poor naked body feeling like it was caught in a raging river. Her mind drifted to her fall into the rapids with L'Abbee several days ago, and soon she realized that's exactly where she was. The diminutive woman opened her eyes and could plainly see that she was back in that river, her arms wrapped around the equally bare body of her d row lover.
_What? How did... How could this be? _Tina's gaze darted around, searching for her mother who'd been right behind her. What had that insipid fairy done to them?
Tina shut her eyes as the rushing water battered her exhausted body, but the sound of the rapids slowly grew more distant and slow, like ocean waves crashing against the shore. The wind stopped rushing against her skin and suddenly a warm, soft feeling took its place, caressing her bruises and soothing her nerves.
Tina felt her breathing slow down as if someone or something was doing it for her. Control had been wrested away from her body, but oddly enough, she was content with it. Letting the warm waves flow over every inch of her skin, washing the frustration and stress from the past few days into the depths below. It felt like she could just melt away and be free of all her troubles.
But a nagging feeling tugged at the back of Tina's mind, like a loose thread that wouldn't come off of her sweater. It pinched her, trying to pull her away from this blissful sleep she was so eager to give into. And what was worse, it was accompanied by a whiney sound that grated her ears.
"A sorry sight, this is."
Tina's eyes shot open, and she found herself sitting in a puddle of blue water, still naked, but with her skin taking on a florescent glow. Standing across from her was another familiar figure in the same state of dress, though her body was covered by a thin layer of fog. Her blue highlights and crystal-clear wings were unmistakable even without her notable pink coat and sword. "You!" The young knight shouted at the fairy who had cursed her.
"Aye, me." Rey scoffed back. "Haven't lost yer wits, yet, I see."
"What are you doing here? And," Tina looked around at the blue scenery around her, "where is here?"
Where is here indeed?
