The next gesture he sees is naught but a fist. That's what he believes, however. As you wind up an invisible lever on the side, suddenly the middle finger begins to rise up. It's another bird! Surely it's an attack he couldn't have seen coming that will deliver a critical blow.

Then you sit back down.
