Chapter 5
by dirtytyke
How did I finally, if belatedly, react?
Flight
I couldn't stand it. My wife, defiling herself, defiling our house. At least she wasn't defiling our marriage bed, but no doubt she'd already done that.
I had to leave.
I turned around and left them to it. Walking out the front door I could still hear her moaning in pleasure, and I found myself wandering aimlessly down the road, still feeling numb from the pain of what I'd seen. I'd no idea how far I'd gone, I'd never seen this street before and had no idea where I was. I fell to the ground exhausted before I remembered I was still nude. Invisible, and nude.
It wasn't a nice day, with overcast skies and a slight breeze blowing my naked body exposed I found I was getting very cold, but I didn't want to move. I wanted to just stay here, wherever I was, and die.
Something, somewhere within me, had other ideas however and I stood looked around, searching for shelter and warmth. There were lights on in a couple of the houses, and smoke rising from a chimney on the other side of the street so I made my way over, boldly walking up to the house and peering inside. I couldn't see anyone inside so I quickly tried the door and finding it was unlocked slipped silently inside.
It was warm, very very warm after the cold of the street, and the smell of the fire burning brightly in the lounge drew me in. It was an old style open fire with a rug laid out in front and I found myself sitting down before the fire. I was still feeling strange from seeing my wife with Him. Disembodied somehow. I guess it was appropriate given I couldn't see myself either.
I curled up in front of the fire and warmed myself, slipping in and out of a restless sleep until I finally woke about an hour later and decided to see who lived here, where they were, and steal some food.
Where do I look first?
