Flashing Two Worlds

Jesse Quick's heart pounded as she raced through the familiar streets of Central City. The air crackled with energy around her, and the world blurred into streaks of color as she pushed the limits of her super speed. Suddenly, a surge of energy enveloped her, distorting reality for the briefest of moments.

As the kaleidoscopic effect subsided, Jesse skidded to a stop, disoriented. The cityscape around her looked similar, yet distinctly different. The buildings, the people—everything seemed slightly altered. Her keen senses picked up on the subtle nuances of a world just out of sync with her own.
