First survival

Today is the day, my first attempt at a run of Survival training... I made sure I got my ammo as stacked up as I could, expecting to deal with large amounts of enemies. It's been a week since I started doing Assaults and Defense missions. I made sure to run weapons training programs whenever I could as well, my weapons proficiency raising by a few additional levels, though I realized I wasn't getting as much out of it as I would from actual missions. EXP wise at least, though I did notice I had gained other bonuses for completing the weapons training. For example reload speed, reaction time with certain weapons, accuracy, some bonuses increased damage or penetration even.

With that I started my first Survival... I found myself pulled into a new place. I saw defensive walls put up around a collection of military buildings, some sort of massive compound? I headed for a nearby building, found myself inside what I quickly realized was a training ground for these military people. Moving quietly and quickly I started by looking for the Armory, they should have some weapons and stuff I can take right? I ended up having to summon some elementals to find it, when I finally got to it I found a large room full of weapons, found also that I could apparently just gather all the ammo and most of the weapons into my inventory. I got a pop up screen that said: Congratulations! You've lowered the damage of the enemies in this area. Go hit the other armories to reduce their effectiveness.

An optional mission? I suppose I could try, plus using the earth rats allowed me to find the other rooms rather easily. Instead of taking the ammo from the other armories I was able to find, I passed C4 to the rats and waited for them to be in place before blowing the armories apart. Then the alarms went off.

...I swear I can hear someone laughing at my situation.

I waste no time, summoning my elementals and starting to send them out to hunt down and wipe out EVERY enemy they can find. My summons have leveled up again, if the Snakes make of lightning, the Wind Wolves, Boars made of Ice, Earth Ferrets and I'm sorry...
WAS THAT A HONEYBADGER MADE OF FIRE?!!?!

I took a minute to calm down as my Elemental Menagerie ran wild through enemies. The snakes were actually whipping their tails at enemies, electrocuting and leaving multiple enemies with what looked like cauterized whip related injuries. The ferrets moving through the floors and walls, going underground and attacking enemies in the basement area's of the buildings, leaping out to claw and bite their way through them. Boars freezing enemies as they SPEARED their tusks into these soldiers bodies. The wolves tackling, running past enemies, the winds around them whipping into a frenzy and causing deep lacerations all over the enemies.... I don't even wanna TALK about what the FIRE BADGERS were doing to the enemies, the soldiers were so torn apart and clawed up... I was DEFINITELY gonna have some nightmares about that later.

When I finally had to start shooting and fighting enemies myself was when large group of new enemies came running in, I wasn't paying attention to what they were saying or shouting as they ran at my elementals using flamethrowers, guns, stun batons and other weapons as they charged the elementals. That's when I heard them yelling something as a new wave of soldiers with a strange tentacle insignia ran at my elementals. "HAIL HYDRA!" They screamed out as they attacked with their weapons, I lost some summons and decided to move for a safer location. So I headed deeper into one of the buildings, looked like an operations center or some kind of HQ. I started summoning replacements for the elementals lost, sending them out through the base to search and destroy any enemies, before they headed out of the building to hunt MORE. I watched as the EXP poured in, it was a reduced rate due to me not being a part of most of the fights personally, but I wasn't looking to maximize my gains from this just yet. This was only the first run, this was data gathering basically. That's when I noticed I had a pop up sitting in the corner of my view, waiting too be opened up.

Huh, interesting... I try summoning a Lesser elemental, what appears is a LARGE wolf, a bit bigger than an ATV and made out of fire. The first thing it does is breathe out a blast of fire that I watch partially start to melt a bit of nearby metal, clearly it's some strong stuff and the wolf's fire isn't anything to scoff at either... I can only manage summoning 3 Lesser elementals in total. Aside from the Wolf I manage to summon what appears to be a Monkey of Ice and and a Snake of Stone. I watch as the Wolf starts melting holes into the wall, the Monkey and Snake moving some of the Dirt outside the metal along the floor. They continued with this until they got the floor covered and hidden with dirt, the Snake slipping into the earth, helping to spread it further as the Snake practically vanished into the earth, lying in wait while the Monkey and Wolf began to spread out more dirt covering the floor. "So they can work together now, set up defenses and ambush points... This is gonna be FAR more effective than I'd realized." I thought out loud, moments before another screen popped up.

Mission Available! Access the computers and send the information files too the organizations unaware of the dangers of this group. Warning: You will have to DEFEND this location for as LONG as possible.

Might as well accept it right? I went ahead and made sure to to get as many of my summons to protect the building as I could, setting them up and getting ambush points set up, the Lesser elementals roaming around setting up defenses, relaying orders to the other summons. Once I had everything set up I accepted the mission and began the upload of information, starting to send out the warning. Within moments LOUD alarms started going off. I saw on a nearby screen that there were dozens of enemy soldiers running into the building to stop me. The first defenses triggered as the soldiers ran in, NEEDLES of Ice being launched from a nearby trap and stabbing into the soldiers legs, cutting them to shreds as they dropped to the ground and were swarmed by the basic elementals. The next wave of enemies came in more carefully, another trap went off, a fire bomb trap exploding. A delayed fireball the wolf had made, falling to the floor and exploding, lighting the soldiers on fire, the smaller summons suddenly swarming them to wipe out as many as they could.

This continued for some time, the information only took about half an hour to send in full, but the enemies kept charging in for a full 2 hours. "They are NOT stopping, I'll need to find another way out..." I sent a few smaller summons to search for another exit, eventually managing to get out through a hidden door, my summons setting up traps and lying in wait to ambush the remaining enemies coming in. When the soldiers finally made it to the control room I'd been in, the explosives were set off with more than half the building collapsing down on them. A minute later I got an objective completed screen with a new objective popping up sending me towards another building... I got a bit lost at that point, going from one objective after another, completing mission after mission. When I finally stopped and had run out of ammo, when my powers were starting to slow and refused to let me summon anymore, THAT was when with no resources left I hit the button to end the Survival...

I came out of the training room, groaning in pain and exhaustion I had never felt so strongly before. I collapsed into my bed minutes later and fell asleep. When I woke up though, I found an OVERWHELMING amount of pop up notifications sitting in the corner of my vision, so I started to open them up.

From there I see the pop up of "You have leveled up!" appear well over a dozen times.

I am still quite exhausted so I minimize the pop ups to rest fully and hopefully recover from such intense exhaustion. As I wake up hours later, I see it's nearing noon... then the screen I'd brought up before had FINALLY fully sunk in. "Wait... I was in there for HOW LONG?!!?!" I shouted as I YANKED the pop ups back up, pulling out my phone to see a number of messages and voicemails. Eyes going wide as I start doing damage control, sending messages and responses all too mitigate the damage and sudden issues from having vanished for 3 days. It takes me a couple hours at least to get everything fixed, I'm just glad that thankfully nothing major happened with the company while I was going through training. Speaking of I should look through the rewards and do level ups while I am able too.

The first thing I am able to get from the rewards is a massive collection of materials, things that quickly are moved down into my lab where they are stored for the time being. Aside from the new materials there was numerous gem stones and quite a hefty amount of cash. I saw several rewards in my inventory that had ??? over them, a little tool tip explaining I'd have to pull the rewards out in order to find out what they all were. Before I could pull out any more rewards though a sudden pop up informed me that I NEEDED to level up immediately or risk losing some of my rewards, so with that I went to the level up screen and promptly went into a coughing fit as I saw how many levels I'd gained from what was basically a 3 day grinding session. Previously my level had been 25, now though my level was sitting at 75?! I stared wide eyed for a moment, looking at the experience I'd gotten, apparently I'd gotten bonus bursts of XP from completing each mission DURING the survival which helped to explain a bit more about HOW I'd gotten so many level ups so quickly. Okay so let's do the stat increases...

...Holy fuck. So yea, I upped all the stats to try and get things kind of rounded out, I wasn't expecting to get bonuses upon hitting stat thresholds for 25 and 50 points in my stats, bonuses that made my body work more efficiently, increased the improvements those stats gave to my physical appearance or capabilities by stacking percentage, even reduced the amount of fat in my body further and further thanks to both Strength and Agility hitting 50. Charisma hitting 50 gave me bonuses that would help with negotiating deals or diplomacy as well as improving my physical appearance. Wisdom increased how well I could use my intellect or that of others, helping me to find the best way to use anything I had to work with. With the stat points spent I found myself looking at the screen showing my powers and how they had leveled up.

Elemental Summoning has reached level 5, allowing me to summon 2 new elements as well as improving the power of the elemental ammo I could make, increasing the max number I could summon and making it less stress inducing to summon elementals. My Enhanced Healing had reached lvl 3 which increased how fast I recovered from exhaustion and even made me require less sleep for a full nights rest. I saw a CONGRATULATIONS screen appear, saying that I had unlocked a NEW TIER of elementals to summon, my new level allowing me to summon elementals of the Basic, Lesser and now Greater tiers, but that I should NOT attempt to summon a greater elemental until I have FULLY recovered at the VERY earliest. The higher tier the summon the less of them I was able to have currently, but the basic summons allowed was now a LOT higher apparently, even better I could keep them hidden and watching all around my business and home as early warning systems if there was an attack or attempted robbery. From there I looked at my weapon proficiency's and found that my **** Rifle, Pistol and Sniper Rifle's had all increased in level further improving the permanent bonuses further or granting new additional effects for said weapons. With that done it was time to see the rest of the rewards...Wait... "What is this? I've never heard of this before..." I stared at this case full of injectors each with this strange glowing liquid that my inventory identified as some sort of Liquefied Crystal?
