First day

In the morning, Magnus attended his classes. First was conjuration. It was mostly just boring note taking.

However the professor did demonstrate the creation of a bo staff. The second class was blacksmithing.

Magnus created an iron dagger. The blacksmith of that class told Magnus of a blacksmith goddess called Hephaestia. The next class was transmutation. Everyone was given a mouse they had to transmutate.

Magnus turned his into a rat. The next class was enchanting. The professor explained that magic crystals were used to enchant objects. Magnus used it to add some spells to a spell book, though didn't actually know what those spells were.

The next class was alchemy which was taught by Professor Nicholas Flammel.

The class was tasked with turning lead into gold. That was simple alchemy.

Magnus did notice that Tania had trouble with transmutation and alchemy. Ashra warned Magnus that some students would not take kindly to powerful upstarts, which as a dragon, Magnus would qualify as, specially as he possessed more than one elemental ability.

As Magnus made his way back to his dorm, he encountered a group of eight students from House Griffin.

"So you're the high achiever, uh?" said one of them, "sorry but dragons like you make everyone else look bad. There can never be equality so long as those like you exist. Now die"

The Griffin students came running at Magnus. Magnus breathed fire in front of them, making them step back. However one of the students jumped through the flames, wielding a sword and swung it at Magnus.

Suddenly, Magnus found himself shooting lightning from his mouth into the student, sending him flying backwards.

"He breaths air too?" asked one of the other students.

Lightning is considered a sub-element of air.

"Are you guys done?" Magnus asked.

The Griffin students ran away.

'I am definitely not joining their house' Magnus thought.
