First day as a mortal

Ambriel wakes up. She's hurting, everywhere.

What happened? Why is everything painful? Even breathing?

Ambriel manages to gets up, only to realise she's naked. Panicked she tries to covers herself with her wings.

Her wings also hurt, she won't be able to fly soon.

Then she looks around; surrounding her is forest, dense, dark, unwelcoming. a breeze is ruffling her feathers and sends a shiver over her naked body. this is the realm of mortals..

As she doesn't see an immediate threat, Ambriel chooses to look for a good solid stick, to help as a tool and to defend herself if needed. Finding a stick is simple enough in the forest. it's not much but at least something to built on.

Now Ambriel will look for food and water. She's not hungry right now, but if what she knows about mortals is true, they are very often under that condition, and she doesn't want to be affected too much too soon.

Ambriel finds what she identifies as 'berries'. They definitely look edible and mortals have been known to consume them.

Ambriel eats some berries, and keeps some for later.

with a stick in one hand and berries in the other, Ambriel looks for materials to craft some basic clothes, with leaves and such.

From leaves and twine Ambriel can fashion something that at least covers her womanly parts, although it is not resistant to any stress and it isn't really helping against the weather. but it provides basic modesty.

Ambriel will try to make camp for the night, if possible make a fire

Int he night she can hear rustling in the bushes nearby, but nothing emerges from them. the fire keeps her warm, but sleep is uncomfortable at best.

At dawn, Ambriel eats the remaining berries.

Ambriel wonders how do the mortals do that every day, and how she can return to the clouds. Does she have to acomplish a quest? Will she have to 'die like a mortal' ? It was supposed to be an experiment, but she has no clue on what to do?
