As you have come to be involved in politics, we have decided to update the Affection Multiplier with a new feature, namely Political Power, as you can see.

This is a measure of how deep your political influence runs, and how much clout you can exert on different political factions. Keep in mind that there is a maximum limit of 1,000, which cannot be exceeded by any means, so never be stingy with how you spend it, though we also advise caution on where and when you do it.

It will regenerate each time you spend political power, but you can hasten its growth through expanding and deepening your political network. If need be, you can use it to strengthen your own party, but be aware certain actions have their limits – be wary of them backfiring and having unforeseen consequences.

Luck of the Fortuitous: So lucky are you in your endeavours that you fare better than most. Cost: 60 perk points

Perception II: Some experienced schemers can hide their intentions more easily behind masks, but effort and experience can break through the façade. Cost: 200 perk points

Polygamy: Having more than one lover is normal to everyone else, and to your inner circle. Surely you need to sate your lust this way? Cost: 250 perk points

Natural Player: To play your enemies and allies alike like pawns in the palm of your hand… a tempting trait to have, and a potent weapon in the world of politics. Cost: 300 perk points

Constitution: A stronger body will grant you greater strength and stamina, and greater protection against diseases. Cost: 50 perk points

The list of perks had grown, and with 400 perk points to spend, she knew it would not be prudent to be so stingy with them now, not with how long it may take for her to earn more despite the app’s powers.

Smooth Talker and Charismatic were purchased, and with 300 perk points left, she was still spoilt for choice in what perks to take.

It was rather disappointing, having only one political action to perform as of now, but understandable with her rather limited political circle.

Guess if I’m ever to get more out of this function, I’ll need to be running for Prime Minister soon, Thought Aviel, Only question is, who else should I seek out? Don’t want to be pessimistic, but chances are that if Tschkenow really kicks the bucket before I get to him, I’ll need other allies.

With that, Aviel heaves a sigh, and decides to go for a drink at her favourite café. Just as she did so, however, she receives a message from Ishmael.

I: Aviel, pardon the sudden message, but could I invite you for lunch? It’s my treat.

A bold and daring move, Aviel found, but she would not deny him; she had little else to do for the day.
