First Tease

The Model’s gaze lingered on Mia like a cat watching a startled mouse, playful and predatory all at once. Her fingers twitched over the edge of the tarot deck. “You like surprises, don’t you?” she whispered, leaning forward, eyes glinting with mischief. “Let’s test your willingness to… invest in your curiosity.”

She reached over lazily, tugging gently at one of Mia’s wrist cuffs. “Nothing huge,” she cooed, letting her finger trace the edge of the leather. “Just a token… proof that you’re willing to pay attention.”

Mia’s eyes widened, caught between wanting to pull back and the thrill prickling along her spine. She hesitated, then, almost without realizing, allowed the Model to slip the cuff free. The Model held it aloft with a triumphant tilt of her head, dropping it into the basket with a soft clink.

“You see? Even small sacrifices bring big rewards,” she teased, her smile widening. Her bare foot brushed the edge of the basket again, as if daring Mia to reach for it herself.

The Model’s hand returned to the deck, flipping the next card with a dramatic flourish. The image was bold: a sleek wolf, eyes gleaming in painted silver. She leaned close, tilting her head as she studied Mia, a low hum escaping her lips.

“Oh? What do we have here…” she murmured, her eyes sparkling. “Mia… my, my. It seems your favourite animal has chosen you.”

Mia froze, pulse quickening. “I… how did you—?”

The Model’s smile deepened, predatory and teasing all at once. “Lucky guess? Fate? Perhaps both. But I think you’re already hooked, darling. Isn’t that right?”

Mia’s breath hitched, curiosity mixing with the thrill of being caught so completely under the Model’s gaze. The cards were just the beginning, and already she knew she wanted to see what would come next.
