How Do Things Go From Here?

First Decision of the Council

After a half-hour, which Usagi noted was typically long for the council outside of advanced planning scenarios, the group was called back for a continued meeting. When they were led back into the council chamber, the party was met with the same image as before. All the rabbit women of the council had blank looks on their faces.

“First off,” said the rabbit woman on the farthest right, “we made arrangements for the rest of your retinue; they will be led by an appropriate guide to the facility we had prepared for them. As for Yuri himself…”

The rabbit woman in the center of the seven said, “We prepared a facility for his occupation during his time here, complete with the appropriate aids in each of the rooms. We have also taken the liberty of arranging a schedule; by our calculations, all residents that meet the prerequisites expressed to us earlier are enough for a few weeks of sessions. His first partner will meet him at the facility two hours after he has been led to the structure; we have also taken the liberty of transporting your luggage to the appropriate facilities.”

“Is there anything we should know before we convene,” inquired the rabbit woman on the far left.

“I’m not sure of how much you have on me in your report,” said Yuri, “but just in case the report missed it or you missed it on a read-through for one reason or another, as an Alpharian, I have an ability that allows me to influence the development of features of my offspring, from how many are conceived to things like the color of their eyes, hair, fur, etc. So, I recommend you have that list of sexual partners put together a list of features they want to request from our mating sessions and decide what on that list they would like to request; if they want, they can also share the list with me, but isn’t required, and they don’t have to if they don’t want to.”

The seven took a moment to look at each other before the central rabbit woman said, “We appreciate you bringing this to our attention; to our understanding, that aspect of your abilities was not fully shared with us; it was hinted at and implied as a possible capability but never truly confirmed in the report.”

As they left the structure, three bunny girls met them all; one for Yuri, one for Usagi, and one for the rest of the party. The three gave each other parting words before following their guides. Usagi, predictably, was led to the residence she stayed at with her immediate family. Yuri was led to one of the two-story structures of the village. The rest of the party was also taken to a two-story building, which was basically a couple of blocks down from the building Yuri had been put in.

After being placed in the structure, Yuri thanked his guide, a bunny girl a little shorter than him with fur that was a dirty white color, and closed the door after she departed. After all that, he decided to look around the facility a bit. The first floor had an entryway, where Yuri left his footwear, and about fifteen feet forward and to the left from the entryway was a set of spiral stairs leading up to the next level; to the right, going forward, was a kitchen, on the other side of the kitchen was a bathroom with a simple bath and sink, but there didn’t seem to be a toilet. The kitchen had a few basic cooking implements, utensils, and the like, along with a simple table in the corner near the entrance with enough size and seating for two individuals with simple dishes to sit at some level comfortably.

Ascending the stairs, Yuri found himself in a hallway with him, looking at a bedroom with quite a bit of space and a bed big enough for him and three other people of similar size to himself; there was a dresser in the far right corner of the room that had his luggage stashed away inside; to the right of the bedroom was what looked like a drawing room of some kind, and to the left of the bedroom was what looked like a room for woodworking and the like.

Yuri suddenly remembered hearing about how ninja buildings had dozens of hidden tool/weapon caches and spent the next few minutes seeing if he could find a few himself. This ate up a bit more time than he anticipated.

*************************************************************

Twenty or so minutes after arriving at the house and doing his inspection, he only found two hidden caches in the house that were both on the second floor, and he heard a knock at the door. Yuri headed down to meet his guest; stopping at the door, Yuri said, “Do you have the list and confirmation documentation requested?”

“We did not discuss such works at our meeting,” came the voice of the central rabbit elder, “but that isn’t a bad idea, especially with something as delicate as this.”

Yuri opened the door and let the rabbit woman in; she had switched out a thong and skimpy bra; the clothing helped accentuate her curvy figure but also called her lack of physical assets to the forefront. “Something to discuss in a meeting at a later date,” said Yuri as he ushered her in, “but given how shinobi are known to forge and falsify documents, you’ll probably require a vetting system that’s difficult to circumvent, in case someone decides to jump ahead of the line, so to speak.”

The rabbit woman took a moment to think about this before saying, “Agreed, I’ll see that we put your next partner on hold until all that has been properly established. I guess all the excitement of finally finding a male of your particular…properties just had us wanting to expedite a few things.”

“What do you wish me to call you,” inquired Yuri, “it makes things difficult when you don’t have a name to refer to.”

The rabbit woman took a moment to think before saying, “Tsuki should do for now; I see your time with my daughter has been beneficial to her.”

It took Yuri a moment to figure out what the rabbit woman meant before saying, with a bit of surprise, “Usagi is your daughter; I thought with her lower shinobi ranking, she was from somewhere a bit lower on the ladder here in the village.”

“I assure you,” said Tsuki, “she is quite capable; we just don’t have the means to properly administer her test to reach the next level for the time being; nothing of an appropriate challenge has reached our ears as of yet.”

“I unintentionally made Usagi laugh when we first met,” said Yuri, “the laugh was a bit unnerving. The laugh of rabbit actually has a creepy vibe to me.”

“It would seem she glossed over that bit in her reports,” said Tsuki with a terse voice, “I’ll be sure to extract the details from her the next time I see her. How did that happen?”

“I just commented on her name,” said Yuri with a bit of amusement. “Where I come from, there is an island nation that has that name as well, and in their language, the name Usagi translates to ‘Bunny’ as a name; then I made an offhanded comment about how there was a rabbit named Bunny, and she suddenly burst out laughing in the dead silence of the forest we were in.”

Tsuki made a quick muffled chuckle before saying, “And what of the alias I am currently using?”

“In that same nation’s language,” said Yuri, “the name you chose as an alias is their word for ‘Moon,’ and I find this amusing because there are stories in lore from that part of the world that speak of a figure known as the ‘Rabbit on the Moon,’ so your alias and Usagi’s brought together can be any combination of those two words, which also can double as a reference to those stories.”

“It seems I might need to amend my list a bit,” said Tsuki, “give me a few minutes, and then we can get down to the business I intended to take part in when I came here.”

“No rush,” said Yuri, “take as much time as you need. I’ll be waiting upstairs when you’re ready.” With that, Yuri returned to the bedroom.
