First Contestants Come In

Cameron plopped down on a couch next to a strange Korean woman with a small floating camera focused entirely on her. “After that brief prelude here comes our contestants! First off is the Master of the season we mentioned earlier, give it up for Cameron Smith!” She shouted as she motioned toward Cameron as the camera slowly turned to him. Cameron was frozen by the sudden change and the camera on him, despite being a YouTuber he mostly does live commentary over his gameplay and reactions with the occasional special video where he has a live camera with a bag over his head, really how does he get those comments. “Despite his career in content creation of the YouTube variety, he’s pretty shy. Oh, by the way, I am Ari the host of this season of Harem Hotel.” The now-named Ari said as she offered her hand meanwhile the camera floated back to get a shot of the two of us shaking hands. That smile she has must be unnatural but it doesn’t look like she is faking it. And what is this about a Harem Hotel?

We have been shaking our hands for a few moments before I realized how awkward it must be and quickly reeled my hand back. Ari only laughed, “What did I tell you? Well, he is in luck as our show has a 100% chance of getting shy people to break out of their shells. Especially our seasonal Masters.” She then laughed again as a laugh track played in the background. Has there always been background music since I have been here?

Suddenly a single musical note sounded loudly for all to hear followed by two more of the same note. “That’s the signal that our first three contestants are done reading the rules, don’t worry Master for you will get the chance to read them yourself, and come out to join us. Let us welcome all at once now… Kiera Jones, Sophia Brown, and Haruto Johnson!” Ari said excitedly as she motioned to the entrance ramp that lead to nowhere, which I just noticed, as the camera flew up and turned its attention. Out stormed the three she just mentioned

“What the eff is this!?” Kiera screamed as she stopped in front of us. “You think I am going to be this urchin’s girlfriend!? Let alone a part of his harem!?”

“Yeah, why are they a part of this!? She doesn’t like him that way and she just plain hates him!” Sophia was the next to speak though she more roared than screamed. “And also how the hell is this legal!? I read the thing you gave us but I barely understood how that works!”

“And how would that even work!? I haven’t heard a lick about him being gay!” Haruto was the next to speak his mind and he made the least noise though that was more of him being a naturally quiet person. I noticed he didn’t mention his attraction to me though I knew he would at least be okay with the idea of fucking me, he was openly bisexual and often commented on his attraction to me. Just one of the many things that made him and his father distant.

“Settle down everyone. Settle down.” Ari tried to calm them down and although it didn’t seem like an order or that it would the three sat down anyway on the opposite side of the circle couch. “First off, Haruto we have a few options for you. You could stay a man and be Master’s wingman. You could stay a “man” and be feminized over time. Or you could just straight up turn into a female which the audience almost always picks.” Ari said in that unnatural tone of her that just screamed **** but not in a ‘she is faking it’ way more a ‘no one person can be this happy all the time’ way. “And you Kiera, you don’t have a choice and if you try to challenge me and the crew any further there will be punishments. I am lenient now just because it is the first episode and we haven’t even gotten all the contestants introduced.” Her voice took a slightly unhappier tone and a more angered one that still seemed a cross between happy and angry.

She then returned to her apparent natural state of full-blown childlike happiness as she turned to Sophia. “Finally, you Sophia. I know you have feelings for the Master but you have to share him with the other girls. Who knows? Maybe he will make your top girl?” She explained that seemed to not fully soothe her but Sophia acted calm, unlike Kiera who was red in the face as she tried her best to stay calm. Haruto was just hanging his head low obscuring the view of his face from everyone including the main camera though I am sure there is a camera below him.

‘What could she mean by feelings?’ Cameron thought to himself.

Ari spoke up and broke the silence. “Now introduce yourself to the audience.”

Haruto went first as he stood up. “My name is Haruto Johnson, I am an 18-year-old senior student. I am half Japanese and half African America and I was born in the USA. I am here because I am Cameron’s best friend.” Haruto Johnson seemed shocked at himself as he was seemingly **** to say those words though the cameras conveniently obscured that.

Kiera was next. “My name is Kiera Jones, I am a 19-year-old office intern. I am a British American and I was born in the UK and moved to the USA when I was 18. I am here because I am Cameron’s cousin.” She said simply before sitting down, it seemed she seemed less shocked by being **** to say those words and more that she said them so formally.

Finally was Sophia. “My name is Sophia Brown, I am an 18-year-old senior student. I am English Canadian and I was born in Canada and moved to the USA when I was 5. I am here because I am Cameron’s best female friend and I have a crush on him.” Sophia seemed calm and compose up until that final sentence where her face and upper body went fully red as tears began to well up in her eyes as she sat back down.

Shocked as I was I still wanted to go to her and hug her like I always do when she or Haruto are feeling down. However, I couldn’t get my but out of the sofa as I was kept in place by powerful magic. “Now that the ones we know are out of the way let’s get to some new faces!” Ari broke another silence as she motioned to the entrance ramp as another musical note went off.
