First, help her out

Ren decided his best option at first was to just help her out. After all, she had come to him in confidence with an actual desire to get some help from him. He didn't want her to leave here without getting it.

"Sumire, the last thing I want is for you to be a wholly different person. And after everything we went through before, I don't think you want that either. At least, not permanently. Maybe for fun, maybe for some play, but when it comes to making deeper changes to you with hypnosis, I don't want to make you someone new. Do you want that?" he asked.

"No..." she muttered. He kinda figured that would be the case. After everything that went down during their third semester together, she swore to keep hold of herself.

"Good. But if you want to do this, you are going to need to trust me to make some tweaks. I need you to fully open your mind to that possibility, and fully trust my judgement, okay?"

She simply nodded.

"I... trust you..." she answered.

He breathed a sigh of relief. Not only would this make helping her easier, but it would also make his Harem plan much more viable.

"Okay. In that case, I need you to listen to me. I want you to think about your practice today. You were really in the zone, weren't you? How'd you feel about your performance?"

"It was... great..."

"Perfect. I need you to think back to that. Think about the headspace you were in. Think about how you felt. How was it?" he asked.

"It was... like a trance. Sort of... like this. But instead of focusing on you... I was focused on... practice..."

"Good. So here's what I'm going to do. Any time you want, you can trigger a light trance yourself. You'll still be aware of what's happening around you. You'll still be able to snap out of the trance easily when you need to. If someone calls to you, it's not like you won't hear it. But you'll enter a light trance and focus entirely on whatever you want your focus to be. Understand?"

"Yes..." she said with a small smile on her lips.

Ren placed his hand on her shoulder and looked at her face. Her adorable, tranced out face.
