Chapter 36 by JackSimth JackSimth

What does dan do with thr information?

Finish it

We get a nice detailed description from Genevieve, using the same illusion model method as we did to design her body. Then we repeat the procedure with Alice, Brianna, and Charlene to ask Michelle, Francine, and Jennifer. We get detailed descriptions of the buyer from all four, along with the name his servants use for him, descriptions of his other servants and their names, what orders they know the others have, and so on.

After the interviews, we give them all fast healing via the Celestial Healing spell. They're technically constructs and so won't heal naturally: My non-magical spell is needed for the minor scrapes and bumps that happen when living life… and if they die, they'll just reform next to us a day later; we don't know them well enough to turn them into superheros. We then give each of them a bunch of mundane equipment (via Major Creation) so they'll have the tools to earn a living, a hundred gold crowns to get them started, and drop them off in the capital.

I then dismiss the Time Stop.

I set up some summons as caretakers for the kids, set the Demiplane up for sustaining them, and then we get to work: I build a dead magic plane (Greater Create Demiplane twice: Once to make the plane, once to give it the dead magic trait: I can still cast there thanks to Unassailable Power), Scribe a set of four Calling Diagrams in concentric circles (each one loaded up with a different alignment of Magic Circle spell, so he's trapped regardless of his alignment). I then use the Transport Travelers clause in Wish: From anywhere, to anywhere, regardless of local conditions. No hit die limits, no line of sight, no line of effect, and I don't care about Planar boundaries: This is a simple save or suck… to which I add Twin, Repeat, and Persistent spell,so that for each of the six castings I spit out in a round, he needs to save he needs to successfully save four times this round and another four the next… six and six, if he's not

[Mythic.

So](http://Mythic.So) in a few seconds, he appears in my trap and blinks rapidly several times.

I take a bit to examine the man: He's human, and has white hair down to his shoulders. His skin is pale and heavily wrinkled, his back bent with age. His limbs spindly and thin. A fairly standard full caster build, really: Maximize mental scores at the cost of everything else. Aura Sight tells me he's lawful evil, and Greater Arcane Sight tells me he has access to ninth level Arcane spells. I presume he's a wizard, mostly because he's a little on the warty side (low Charisma) and an arcane caster. It doesn't really matter, though.

I apparently caught him in the bathtub, because he is naked and sopping wet. Good, it means I don't need to worry about him slitting his own throat to escape. I watch as he tries (and fails) to cast a spell at me… Shades, from the useless hand gestures and pointless Draconic rhyme. I counterspell it anyway just in case he brought an “out” from dead magic.

I smile calmly (not that he can see) and summon a proxy to speak for me. “That's not going to do anything here.”

“Do you know who I am?” The man pulls himself up with much effort, posing.

“Peter Parsnip. Fifth son of an upstart baron, your mother Paula Paranip having been awarded the barony for services to the crown, handling a troll infestation.” I have my minion relay, “You inherited nothing, all lands falling to your eldest sister, your only power is your own spellcasting, and that won't work here.”

“My servants will…”

It's fun running at three times his speed. I have my minion interrupt the tirade, “...check once a day, and be unable to revive you. I don't plan to kill you, Mr. Parsnip. That is far too easy to reverse. You caused my friends and I much pain. **** is pointless. I am acting to prevent you from inflicting your sins on more people.”

He frowns at my proxy, “I have contingencies…you will…”

“...be perfectly fine.” I again have my summon speak, “I have my own wards, one of which I plan to apply to you before using Imprisonment. In fact…” I cast the spell, with reach spell so I don't need to touch him, “...you're now under a permanent Mind Blank,” until I tell it to go away, “so not even a Wish will figure out where you are, for when that fake Efreeti of yours tries.”

“But you said magic doesn't work here…” he begins.

“Yours won't,” I have my minion shrug, “mine will: I created this reality.”

“So you're just going to…” he stops speaking and charges my summon. That doesn't work well: He slams into the magical barrier that is a Magic Circle spell used as a trap.

“Anyway, now for the Imprisonment spell so you can't be Wished back, either.” I have the minion smile as I cast, and the old man becomes entombed deep underground, held in stasis. Imprisonment is one of the very few things that even foils Wish's Transport Travelers clause, but that will reveal where… except that the Mind Blank prevents data gathering by Wish. He is simply lost, forever, on this dead magic plane. Even if someone were to manage to find him, the only way to free him is to come here and cast Freedom on the spot where I cast Imprisonment… and the dead magic should prevent that even if someone figures it out. It would take someone very much like me to free him… and I don't plan to do so.

Ironically, in a way I'm doing him a favor. Had I not intervened, he would eventually die (even if he spent time as a lich first) and then go to Hell: It literally and verifiably exists here. Now, instead of being tormented for all eternity, he gets to ride eternity out outside of time. However, **** wasn't my goal… nor was justice, really. The world will simply be better without him in it, for me and many others.
