Finally Some Peace and Quiet

Tuesday was a breeze. In terms of school, it was a tad bit awkward. Jesse wanted to hang out later, and I froze. What was I supposed to say, yeah let's hang, also we're tunnel buddies now. But at the same time saying nothing was eating at me.

Then of course Viv locked me into a school project with her. My plan was just to ignore her for the time being. And I guessed she sensed it, she knows I won't fail a project so the best thing to do is make me interact with her. If I say no, I'm now an asshole.

Luckily it wouldn't just be me and Viv, it's a three person project. I guess Viv thought roping in the quiet girl, Rita, would be better than somebody more outgoing and give us more alone time.

We made a plan to meet tomorrow, we have two weeks to get it done. As for Jesse, I had to turn down his plans. I just can't face him right now, I feel too guilty.

As soon as I made it home, I was promptly left alone. Free at last, from everyone and all the stress. Even Heleth wasn't bothering me.

"Edward Quinn! Get up, your coming with me!" My mother yells, I forgot about her.

"What did I do mom?" I ask as i feel I'm about to be in major trouble. What if she knows about Wendy, Alex, or Viv, it'd be over for me.

As she enters the room her face softens, "bit too aggressive, huh?" Her massive frame entering my eyesight. Mom was tall, same height as me, and with her voluptuous Curvy figure she was a true bbw. Her blonde Bob did kinda make her look like a Karen though.

I calm down, "Yeah a little bit too much."

"Sorry about that, but we do genuinely need to have a chat, and there's no saying no." She sits down next to me, placing her hand on my thigh.

I gulp, "Sure, what about mom," she knows, she has to know there's no other way, I'm fucked.

Mom takes a breath, "while I can't complain about your grades, you being a straight a student and all, I fear you're falling behind."

"What!" Really that's what this is about, I'm literally near the top of my class, I'm all worried my mom found out about my sex life but no it's something as mundane as grades that are already perfect.

"Just listen to me, please," mom sighs, "I know you're doing better than great in school, but extracurriculars are lacking. No clubs, no sports, no nothing. Lucy has her sports granted she's not an a student like you, but she's well on her way to a scholarship. Likewise, Dee was in debate and student council before she graduated. Ed you're behind, schools look at this stuff."

It was at this moment Heleth spoke up to me, "Ed you need to nip this in the bud we can't be sacrificing the free time we need to have sex."

I understood what Heleth meant, I already had a tight schedule as it was, and with the need to be with other people there was no time for me to be in a club, not to mention it was already way to late to join a sport. "Mom, I think I'm doing just fine, I mean look at my grades."

"Its too late Ed, I already got you an internship at my law firm. You're going to work Wensdays, Fridays, and Saturday. And we're going to go get you some work appropriate attire right now." Mom looks at me with a smile, was she actually excited for me to be basically just fetching coffee.

"Well Ed, we're fucked" Heleth looks down at the floor.

"Okay mom, let's go get clothes then," I smile back at her. Truth be told, it was probably gonna suck. But throwing a fit about it wasn't gonna solve anything.
