Finalizing Things for the Night

Althana just did her best to not gawk at the figure of Inoshana in her transluscent nightgown as she was finishing setting up the six bottles of revitilizaition potion on the bedside table. The translucent material was much more transparent than she anticipated, it was so shy of being transparent the only way to really tell was the tent of the fabric, when Malza had informed her about Inoshana’s choice of sleeping attire on her way in. The fox woman easily had the most sexually appealing figure among those here, and that would probably change at some point when you took into account the warning about dragon’s and territory this far out from the rest of the civilized world. Regardless, Yuri’s presence here promised for an explosion of culture the likes of which had never been seen before, at least according to all the records the more scholarly members of the group could currently recall.

“I thank you for all of this,” said Inoshana gracefully, “I hope it wasn’t too much trouble to procure.”

“Not really,” said Althana as she made her way out of the room, “seeing as I made the potions myself, I am an alchemist, the real issue was the transit time, which was thankfully less of an issue thanks to the tunnel connecting my atelier to the grounds here… Where did you get that night gown, anyway? I’m pretty sure you admitted to not having such things among your belongings when you arrived.”

“The goddess provides,” said Inoshana sagely, “it looks like she used her power to recreate aspects of how the facility functions due to it being cut off from how it would actually be powered, and she extended a minor miracle to all the rooms to provide attire appropriate to the room’s occupant.”

“That’s it,” said Althana on her way out, “I’m picking a room here, the atelier and its rooms can be repurposed anyway.” And with that, the gnome was out of th room.

Inoshana took a moment to admire the bottles of potion on the bedside table, potions to renew one’s energy and renew their fluids were something impressive, she would have to discuss with the gnome about where such a lovely little innovation had come from. A lot of opportunities were opening up, far more than many probably thought possible or viable. She took a quick look out the window, just a little over an hour to twilight, perfect, dinner then fun time.

Yuri decided to do a quick inventory of the fridge and see what had changed, from what he could tell the refrigerator and freezer were now equipped with some magical features that made them even better at their job of food preservation. He would have Thelsia do a magical inspection of all the key appliances later, maybe tomorrow or the day after. For now, it was time to start working on dinner. It wasn’t just him, and he had so many guests, this was going to be interesting.

Now, what to make? He would have make a spread to encompass several options, given dietary structures of each of the girls; Usagi, seeming to be a surprisingly authentic shinobi, had some distinctive dietary restrictions; and Alma, being a literal lioness, likely had a preference for high protein options that would go against Usagi’s dietary restrictions. From the looks of it, the rest of the party didn’t quite have any major dietary restrictions.

After checking the fridge, Yuri checked the freezer. He noticed burgers, of various different varieties. He took a quick look out at the patio area that he hadn’t recalled yet, suddenly that recalling he had a retractable grilling area for the patio. He took quick note of where the burgers were and closed the door before heading over to the console on the wall and hit a few buttons, a moment later the grilling setup rose up at the far side of the patio. Yuri hit a few more buttons on the console, and a trolley cart was raised out of the floor near the entrance to the kitchen. After he went over and pulled the trolley towards him, the platform it had been raised up on retracted the space with the hidden door closed to give the impression of a solid floor again.

Yuri took the trolley over to the fridge and pulled out some vegetables and fruits, along with a small assortment of condiments, before closing the fridge and pulling out the burgers, some fish, and some ribs. He wheeled the trolley out to the four grilling rigs that part of his setup and started their ignition systems before waiting a few minutes for four grills to heat up before placing each of the options on different grills, prepping the fruit and some of the other food items for the grill during the wait; one grill for the veggies, one grill for the fruits, one grill for the burgers, and one grill for the ribs and fish. Yuri had noticed some hot dogs and various sausages in the fridge as well, but decided against bringing them out just yet, mostly due to the fact they are commonly used as euphemisms for a penis and do indeed have seemed to have a phallic form to them, especially in a world like this.

After closing the lids to keep the heat contained, Yuri headed back inside to grab some grilling equipment, especially independent tongs for each of the grills. A moment later, all the appropriate tools were by their designated grills and everything was turned over for the first time and Yuri was grabbing some burger buns from the freezer. He had some onion burger buns, sour dough burger buns, brioche buns (which he considered the lowest form of bread), Rice Buns (buns made similar to rice cakes), pretzel buns (both standard and low-sodium variety), multi-grain buns, and even those weird niche tapioca burger buns he only really bought once out of curiosity back when he was sixteen.

When everything was almost done, Yuri used the intercom to call everyone down for dinner, indicating they would be using the patio as a dining space. He made sure to have a few bowls, plates, and eating utensils setup on the table for everyone to grab before he made the call. This worked well for a few reasons, it let him contact everyone in the manor, let all the ladies know where the com units were in their rooms, and let him finally use the com system as intended instead of just being some sort of functional set dressing.

Inoshana looked over to where Yuri’s voice seemed to come from the wall, announcing that he had made dinner for everyone. She licked her lips in anticipation as she made sure her nightgown was in pristine condition before making her way out and down to the patio area. On her way down, she noticed the rest of the ladies were also in some noticeably revealing nightwear that complimented their figures as well, they clearly had similar thoughts to herself.

When she got down to the destination, Inoshana heard Yuri sigh in annoyance and give comment about how everyone seemed to only have kinky attire for the night. He then directed the group to the food he had prepared, the rice cake-like things made the “shrimp burger” she had decided to start with look so good together. Inoshana noticed Usagi had her plate arranged strategically with basically all the vegetable options, and some of the fruit choices, Malza seemed to have a similar arrangement for her plate, just more fruit than vegetables could be found with her. Inoshana had also loaded her plate with some of the “grilled peaches” and gotten a few veggies for her plate as well. Alma seemed to have pilfered almost all the rib and fish that had been grilled. Everyone else seemed to have things arranged a bit more diversely regarding the options. Yuri was also downing a few burgers. Beverage kiosks had also been set up nearby, and everyone was having fun playing with the options; Inoshana chose to keep it simple and just chose some mineral water, she chose to not have a flavored option.

As the meal was winding down, Inoshana declared her desire to consummate with Yuri, to which he gave a comment about how that always seemed to happen with the women around him and told her he would meet Inoshana in her room in about half an hour. Inoshana was thankful that the meal had been so big, it meant they would have plenty of energy for the night’s activities.
