Finale - When Everything Falls Apart

The elevator took Claire to the roof. It was a container yard located in the north of Raccoon City, where a helicopter was parked. And Sherry was nowhere to be seen.

“Sherry? Where are you?” Claire vacantly looked around. She was too distracted by the haunting thirst to focus and find the little girl’s whereabouts.

However, she did notice that there was a note on the seat of the helicopter. She picked it up and unfolded the tear-stained paper with her shaking hands.

Claire, thank you for being so nice to me, for helping me. I’m really glad I met you. I knew you’ve been trying your best, but it’s time to let me go. I’m sorry, but don’t let me be a burden to you. Keep moving forward, Claire. Goodbye.

“Sherry...” She whispered the name at the end of the note, but no one would answer anymore.

As the cold breeze caressing her pale skin, Claire collapsed, helplessly sat on the ground and sobbed quietly. Is this what I deserve? I’ve sucked someone dry, watched my friends wither, left Leon behind. And yet, I still couldn’t save Sherry. I’ve failed them all. What’s the point of moving forward? To wander in the nights, to be forever driven by the thirst and lust, to feed on and infect the innocents?

“Claire!” Leon got to the roof seconds later and saw Claire sitting on the ground next to a helicopter. He was ready to reach for his gun when he was looking around. He frowned with confusion and asked, “Where’s Sherry?”

“I lost the vaccine... And I lost her...” Claire smelled Leon’s blood from the distance. She didn’t dare to raise her head and look at him, because she feared that she would lose control if she did. Please, just leave me be... She bit her lips and shivered from the sweetness that has been stimulating her whole body.

“Hey... I’m...I’m sure you’ve done your best.” Leon sighed and stepped closer.

Claire’s body moved before she even realized. She jumped at Leon, grabbed the back of his head and his left arm with her hands, and hissed at him with her fangs bared. Leon by instinct pulled out his Matilda and aimed at her heart.

But they both stopped.

Leon felt her hands shaking, and saw something other than thirst in her eyes. They were red, not that vampiric red, but because she was crying. He saw sadness, like she was begging to be freed from this. And it was at this moment that he realized, if Claire were to attack him, she would’ve grabbed his right arm instead.

“Leon... I don’t want to be like this...” Claire struggled with the thirst as she restrained from getting closer to him, “Please... kill me...”

“No... Maybe... Maybe we could find another away.” Leon was hesitating.

“There’s no-”

Bang!

A silver bullet pierced Claire’s shoulder and blew her away from him with strong ****.

“Claire!” Leon was shocked and immediately turned around, aiming at the shooter. To his surprise, it was no other than Ada.

Ada reached the roof with her mind occupied, but when she saw a vampire attacking Leon, she didn’t hesitate and took the shot. It missed the head but successfully drove the vampire away. That’s the female vampire he talked about. So it must be true. A small, unobtrusive smile curved her lips when Ada recognized the vampire’s appearance. That’s convenient. I’ll just kill her and take the sample.

“Ada, wait!” Leon lowered his gun and stepped between the girls, “She’s not one of those mindless vampires! She can control herself!”

“What? How is that possible!?” Ada didn’t back down as she kept staring at Claire, who was standing up behind Leon.

Claire looked at the scorched wound on her shoulder, yet she merely felt anything. She saw the strange vampire who shot her, but what attracted her more was the silhouette of an unsuspecting Leon. He’s too trusting... Ah, I can grab him from behind easily, and drain him... She couldn’t shake the evil thoughts off her mind while sniffing his fragrance in the air, but she managed to stay where she was and did not make an actual move.

“She took a vaccine after she turned.” Leon glanced at Claire for a moment before continuing to persuade Ada, “Believe me, she had every chance to attack me but she didn’t!”

“A vaccinated vampire?” Ada slowly lowered the gun in disbelief. She frowned for a moment, and walked towards Claire swiftly.

“What are you doing?” Leon was afraid, but there’s nothing he could do to stop a fully fed vampire.

Ada grabbed Claire’s chin with her strong hand, and **** her tongue in her mouth. Claire felt Ada licking her fangs and she liked the sooth sensation given to her. Their lips attached to each others’. It wasn’t actually a kiss but when Ada began to rub Claire’s breast with the other hand, Claire completely lost her control, closed her eyes and drowned herself in the unimaginable pleasure.

Leon just stood beside them shocked and didn’t know what the hell he was witnessing.

Ada held Claire closer, dived deeper, and moved her hand to her waist and further to her lower part. Claire moaned intensely when Ada finally released her. She was still in the trance state when she recollected the pleasant flavor of Ada’s saliva in her mouth.

“Interesting.” Ada was amazed at what she learned, “The vaccine must’ve cleansed the T-Virus in her body. I can tell by tasting her saliva, that her probably won’t infect who she bites.”

“You mean she’s just like you?” Somehow Leon found himself happy to hear that.

“In a way.” Ada looked at Claire with a smile, “You’re Claire, right? I could teach you how to live as a vampire, if you wish to.”

Live as a vampire? Am I going to pretend the two nights of horror I’ve spent never happened? The insatiable thirst for blood and sex... How can I live with that? How am I going to tell Chris what I’ve become? The more she thought, the more depressed she became.

“I...” Claire turned to Leon, confused.

“I bet Sherry would’ve wanted you to move on, too.” Leon came to her and gently held her hand, “Come on. Let’s get out of here.”

_Keep moving forward, right? _That’s her wish for me on the note. Claire could almost hear Sherry’s voice echoing in her head. After struggling and thinking deeply for a long time, Claire hesitantly nodded with her teary eyes and followed Leon and Ada on the helicopter.

The girls sat in the back seats, while Leon was starting the engine in the pilot’s seat. Glad I learned that in police school, he thought.

“Leon, could you please fly to the hospital’s rooftop first?” Claire’s voice was shaking as she spoke, “There’s... a friend of mine who might need help.”

“I’ll try.” Leon suspected what this friend of her would be, but he assured her anyway.

“Thank you...” Claire lay on the seat and decided to have some rest. But that didn’t seem to be an option.

Still can’t retract the fangs... Too thirsty... Claire tried harder but eventually gave up. The thirst was so haunting that she still wanted to bite Leon. After all, he was probably the only living human in the city by now, and undoubtedly the most delicious one. But she didn’t want to cause any trouble, especially when he was piloting.

“First thing you need to learn, is how to suppress the thirst. For example...” Ada gently climbed on top of Claire and removed her red jacket.

“What... what are you doing?” Claire found herself awkwardly blushed and felt hot when gazing in Ada’s eyes.

Ada remained silent, leaned on Claire and sealed her sensual lips with hers. A more proper kiss time time, Claire thought and accepted it luxuriously. And this time she struck back. Her tongue intertwined with Ada’s and suddenly, got stabbed by a pair of sharp fangs that dropped in an instant. The pain was momentary, but the outpouring pleasure was unceasing.

When Claire was losing herself in the blissful sensation coming from the sweetness of her own blood mixed with another vampire’s saliva, Ada slid her hand into the pocket on the jacket and returned the golden pendant which she had taken during their previous intimate interaction. She had inspected the mechanism and found the thing she needed inside, one that could spare her and Leon’s life, even if he might not agree with her. But he doesn’t need to know. Everything will be fine, Ada persuaded herself.

“Got to keep our dear pilot save from your fangs, don’t we?” Ada gave a lustful smile after finishing her stealthy move and breaking the kiss. She slid her fingers in Claire’s pants and dived deeper between her thighs, caressed the hidden bite marks and stroked her juicy clit.

“Mm... More... Mm!” Claire’s mind melt when it was captured by Ada’s alluring, scarlet gaze. She bit her finger with her lips and moaned from the pleasure.

“Women...” Leon shook his head and tried his best to focus on piloting.

The helicopter lifted off in a joyful atmosphere. Leon managed to get back to the hospital, but he didn’t see anybody or anything on the rooftop besides a pile of ashes. He wanted to confirm it with Claire, but hearing the intoxicating moans and pants behind him, he didn’t dare to interrupt the two thirsty, voracious girls.

They managed to leave the city before sunrise. A new yet dark world awaited the trio who have just made it out of hell.

Sherry Birkin - “Alive”: Sherry was turned by Katherine in the orphanage. Unbeknownst to others, she made it out “alive” after receiving certain helps.

Ada Wong - “Alive”: Ada made it out “alive” by the helicopter on the NEST 2.

Annette Birkin - Deceased: Annette was killed by Leon with a silver bullet.

Katherine Warren - Deceased: Katherine was implanted with a G-Embryo by William Birkin. She fell dormant after the G-creature burst out her chest, and presumably was killed when the city was bombed.

Samantha Minervino - “Alive”: Sam was turned by Director Henry in the pharmaceutical factory. Unbeknownst to others, she made it out “alive” after receiving certain helps.

Dustin the U.B.C.S. Mercenary - Deceased: Dustin was turned by Director Henry in the pharmaceutical factory. He was killed by Chief Irons with a silver bullet.
