Fight till the end!

I refuse that fate! I am an elf now damnit, we are KNOWN for bein’ prideful till the end! I will fight to my last breath!

You grip your mace with fury as you find your feet and charge the orc. He winds his warhammer and sweeps it towards you. You are able to narrowly slide under the swing due to your elven agility. You bring your mace upwards into his stomach with all your might! The impact lands leaving a small dent in otherwise perfect armor. The orc steps forward and stomps his foot onto your chest robbing the wind from your lungs.

“Well played, most don’t even get a dent.” The orc grabs you by the neck with one massive hand and raises you into the air. “Is this it elfling? Is this all the fury you could muster?”

You kick and flail trying to escape his grasp. His strong grip cuts off your air supply and you look at him with blurring eyes. Beneath his helm, eyes of fury turn to confusion as he drops you to the ground.

“GAH! You wretch!” The orc turns away and you see the cause for surprise. Blood pours out of a wound in his back. Someone has stuck a small blade between the plates of his armor. Looking past the orc you see him, it’s Bax!

“You two coulda waited 5 minutes ya know? Aren’t elves supposed to be patient an all that?” Even in such a serious moment he still speaks without care.

“Careful! He’s powerful!” Syvella says climbing to her feet behind you. She hurries over and helps you up.

“Eh so am I. Come on big fella let’s take it outside like gentlemen.”

“RAHHH I’LL KILL YOU PUNY ROGUE!” Olric goes charging after Bax who leads him outside.
