Fight To The ... Kinda
SWOOSH! SWOOSH!
The sound of swifting winds and its graceful movements echoed in the back of Suho's skull. His blue eyes slowly fluttered open. Surprisingly, he wasn't on the ground like he had expected, nor was he with the healers like he had hoped.
For some reason, he stood in the middle of a large castle-like structure. A throne room. His body ached with a familiar pain. He examined his new surroundings. The castle was in a state of ruin. Dust and debris made it hard to see, and large pillars, which once stood proud, scattered across the ground shattered.
"Where the hell am I?" Suho wondered about his surroundings. The last thing he could remember was accepting that blue pop-up screen, and then... nothing.
BOOM!
An explosion erupted from above. It caused the ceiling to collapse. Large chunks of drywall rained from above, threatening to squish any soul unfortunate to be caught.
In a renewed state of panic, Suho scattered around the room, swiftly and narrowly dodging the descending rubble. "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck." His tired body pushed itself to its limit.
He had been taken aback, and while he did his best to avoid the raining debris, he couldn't dodge it completely. The fatigue ultimately caught up to him, and the moment he stopped to catch his breath, a rogue chunk of rock slammed down on his head.
Suho stumbled back and fell to the ground with a THUD!. Blood now trickled down his forehead. Funny enough, that wasn't the only issue. A large pair of canine suddenly appeared from within the overwhelming mist. Suho jolted forward and stumbled back.
Low growling sounds seemed to come from all directions of the structure. Suho kept his gaze on the large beast's canine, watching as it slowly crept closer. Even with his limited vision, Suho could make out the beast's alarming stature. A wolf, triple the height of two grown men. Its golden eyes were adornes with small flecks of crimson, and its jaw opened to reveal a set of insanely sharp canines. Its upper jaw held ten sharp teeth; while the lower held double. The beast had fur as white as snow, and if it wasn't for its imposing stature, it would be considered cute.
The wolf howled ferociously. It's golden irises contrasted and expanded as it stared down at Suho. Speaking of Suho, he stood frozen like a dear in headlights. His body trembled and his heart had come to a stop. He felt his throat begin to close, and his eyes begin to burn. Am I going to die?
[Sumos - Guardian of The ****'s King castle. Leader of the Grey Wolves. LV. 20]
The pop-up screen materialized over the beast's head. Sumos. Suho offered the beast a warm smile. "Come on. You're a guardian, can't you tell I mean to harm," he placed his arm forward.
Sumon stepped forward, the castle shook. The powerful presence of the beast snapped Suho's mind back into a state of primal fear. This is how it was. The weak feared the strong, while the strong preyed on the weak. A cruel and unforgiving ideology set in place to never allow the weak to gain power.
The large snow wolf snarled and looked down upon Suho, literally and figuratively. The look in the wolf's eyes reminded Suho of Viro. The same disdainful stare. The wolf stared with arrogance at its weak and helpless prey.
[Quest: Power of the resilient.
Sumos stares down at the Young Lord with arrogance and pride.
Defeat the guardian and attain the secret of the Lord of ****'s castle.
Reward: A special Skill - A weapon selection.

Defeated: 0]
Suho stared forward at the text with disbelief. How could this stupid system be telling him to defeat that big wolf. Screw this, I'm not trying my luck. With all of the strength his legs could muster, he took off in a sprint down the castle's halls. The large beast roared a deafening roar and pursued him.
The halls were winding and long. The many obstacles in the way slowed down Suho as a result of his body's weakened state. The wolf, however, trampled down any pillar or debris in his path. Gasps periodically left Suho's lips, his chest heaving. His heart beat fastened.
Sumos's canines glistened against the sunlight beaming down on the castle from the hole ahead. His legs were much stronger thab Suho's, allowing him to keep the pace and decrease the distance between itself and its prey.
Suho hurried down the halls, cutting corners and sliding into any narrow passage he could. Sumos clearly was not afraid of damaging the castle further to catch Suho. The dark-haired boy panted as he pushed himself further. He hadn't looked back. He couldn't bring himself to look back.
Growing tired of the chase, Sumos leaped forward, stopping Suho in his tracks. The large beast growled menacingly. It now had its prey where it wanted him. Low growls echoed along the walls of the castle as Sumon inched closer.
Damn it. Suho frowned. He glanced back and turned around, but he couldn't run. The fear along with fatigue overpowered his will to live, and his body gave up on him. He stumbled forward in an attempt to catch his breath and fell to the ground. "Shit."
Sumos' golden irises shimmered as it stepped closer to Suho. Its jaw opened, revealing a devilish set of canines and horrid breath. The beast lunged forward, its teeth ready to rip Suho limb from limb.
Suho gulped and laid on the ground. His body ached and pulsated all over. There was nothing he could do to fight back or defend himself. In the end, it seemed like he would die before accomplishing his dreams.
Just as Suho shut his eyes and prepared hinself mentally for the pain... a miracle occured.
...
...
...
Huh? Suho blinked. He felt no pain. Actually, his body felt rejuvenated. Is **** supposed to be this soothing and painless?
"Wake up, Young Lord."
Suho's eyes snapped open at the sudden greeting.
[Amira: Commander of the Lord of ****'s armies. Max Level]
"I'm pleased to see you are in better shape, Young Lord." The girl's voice was smooth and soothing. Her blue eyes resembled lightning raging on in the skies above, and her long locks of gold reached down to her firm, sizeable butt. She dressed herself in luxurious silk, the kind Suho had only ever seen the nobles wearing.
"Who – Who are you?" Suho stumbled over his words. He stole glances at her firm rack perking up and making a dent from within the fabric.
The woman smiled, a motherly smile which radiated warmth. "Young Lord, I am Amira. The Lord of ****'s greatest soldiers, and your first."
"First what?" Suho's cheeks began to heat up.
Amira was confused for a moment, then she giggled. "The first of your warriors, my liege."
"Why are you calling me that?" Suho asked. Amira and the System both made a habit of calling him 'Young Lord' or 'My Liege'.
"One reason only. You are his heir. His champion. His greatest creation - and his son." There was pride as she spoke. Pride directed towards whoever she was referring to.
"Who is he?"
"My lords information is not mine to disclose. He shall reveal himself to you when he feels you are ready." She replied. Her lips curved into an apologetic smile.
"Where am I?" Suho kept the questions rolling. For some reason, he felt at peace near her. It was as if he knew something his brain could not remember.
"The depths of The Lord of ****'s dungeon. His castle. The seat of power for the entirety of the realm of darkness."
"Realm of darkness?" Suho glanced around as memories of Sumos played in his mind. To his surprise, the large beast was dead. Its head had been smoothly sliced from its neck, and it laid lifeless on the ground.
Amira motioned towards the small window off to the corner of the small bedroom. "His last gift to you. A world of his own creation with monsters and beasts. It's a vast world with an endless amount to see and explore. And it's just a fraction of my Lord's true powers."
Suho ignored her praisings and gazed out the window. Monsters and being of different sizes and powers were warring with one another. Everywhere he turned, monsters were in a state of constant and endless battle. Blood rolled down from an endless pile of bodies scattered around.
"They're so... violent."
Amira blinked and took on an offened expression. "Watch your mouth, Young Lord. The mongrels down there are all beings given life by my lord. Pathetic as their species may be, they are flawless."
"They look pretty flawed to me."
The golden-haired woman was shocked. What kind of ridiculous nonsense was this? "Wh - What?! My Lord makes no mistakes in his work. All of his creations are invaluable and flawless." With a frustrated expression, Amira repeated.
Before Suho could respond, the system popped up before his eyes once again.
