Feeding Time

You look around to see if the area is clear before you cautiously make your way out. You decide to stay off the path since it's more likely to encounter other trainers there. As you navigate through the trees and bushes, you can hear the faint chirping of Pokemon and the rustling of leaves.

After a few minutes of searching, you spot a fallen log with dry branches nearby, perfect for starting a fire. Carefully, you gather the wood, making sure to avoid any thorny plants or poisonous Pokemon that might be lurking around. Once satisfied with your collection, you make your way back to the cave but you stop when you see a Raticate feeding a group of Rattatas, but It looks like the mommy or daddy Raticate has trouble reaching the higher apples. You put the firewood on the ground and release your Bulbasaur from its Pokeball. "Okay Buddy, use Razor Leaf to slice down some of those higher apples for the Raticate and its Rattata family," you command your Bulbasaur.

Your Bulbasaur eagerly springs into action, leaves glowing with energy. With precise aim, it launches a flurry of sharp leaves towards the tree's branches, expertly cutting down the higher apples. The Raticate and the Rattatas are scared at first, but as they see the fruits falling to the ground, they eagerly gather around, happily munching on the freshly fallen fruits. As you watch the heartwarming scene unfold, a sense of satisfaction fills your heart. It's not just about feeding the hungry Pokemon, it's about lending a helping hand to those in need, even if they belong to a different species.

Once the Raticate and its Rattata family have their fill, they scurry away, disappearing into the forest. You smile, grateful for the opportunity to have made a positive impact on their day. Thankfully, you managed to collect a few apples for yourself and Helena. "Okay, You carry these apples and I take the firewood." You say to Bulbasaur.

"Bulba." Two vines sprout out of Bulbasaur one left and one right, and it starts to lift the logs with ease.

"Or we do it like that. Just be careful to not get attacked by any Pokemon." You say to your Bulbasaur before walking back to the cave with Bulbasaur following close behind.

As you make your way back to the cave, a sense of accomplishment fills your chest. The sight of the Raticate and its Rattata family enjoying the apples you and Bulbasaur helped provide warms your heart and reaffirms your bond with your Pokemon.

Upon returning to the cave, Helena looks up from where she was resting, her expression brightening at the sight of the apples in your hands. "You found food! That's fantastic!" she exclaims, her hunger becoming more apparent by the second.

You hand her an apple as you plan to use the rest of them to make apple curry. Bulbasaur puts the logs on the ground and sits down to watch you. You gather some nearby rocks to make a makeshift firepit. You arrange the wood in the small pit and take out your trusty lighter and easily light up the campfire. You reach into your bag to pull out your camping pot before setting it up above the fire.

As the flames start to intensify, you start to prepare the apple curry. You start by cutting the apples into small pieces and adding them to the pot. You season the apples with salt, pepper, and curry powder before adding a bit of water and letting them simmer. As the apples cook, they release a sweet and fragrant smell that fills the air. You add the rice and some veggies to the pot, before topping it all off with some onions and garlic. You serve the curry in bowls and enjoy every bite.

Helena and you sit down to eat your apple curry, both of you enjoying the spicy and sweet flavors. The warmth of the fire and the comforting taste of the apple curry create a cozy atmosphere inside the cave.
