Chapter 284 by Jpyric Jpyric

It feels good to be home.

Feast and family

The feast is raucous. So many people, so many personalities. Everyone is there, your siblings, your ‘aunts’, and your own girls. For the most part, they all listen intently as you tell your story, and the girls cut in to add their perspectives. At the same time, a feast is served, and everyone eats their fill.

Once you finish your tale, there’s questions, of course. Ferra spends time talking with her creators, Clarissa and Kali, about everything you’ve done, and about her recent transformation. Alex is drawn into conversation with Sadie, the two elementals finding that they have a lot in common. You aren’t surprised when the two of them disappear through a nearby doorway.

Sarah finds a kindred spirit in Uzume, the giant Oni war goddess taking a liking to the muscular hellhound as they talk combat and weaponry. Clarissa joins them at a later point, and Sarah is delighted to speak with the metallic dwarven forge goddess.

Naturally, Melora spends time in quiet conversation with Yura, the two seers drawn together. Nadia joins them as well, the faerie being of a similar mindset after her years as queen. Rachel joins them as well, and the four of them seem to be quite happy to converse quietly.

Completely the opposite, Cassie bounces from conversation to conversation, a bundle of energy in spite of her advancing pregnancy. She seems to gravitate towards Lynn the most, the little goblin goddess giggling at the chameleon girl’s antics. They are joined by Reika, the changeling being fascinated by Cassie’s changing colors.

You’re not surprised to see Lilith deep in conversation with Samara. The succubus and the Lilim have plenty in common, and soon Kali joins them as well. Ferra comes back to your side, all smiles after her conversation with her creators.

You spend your time talking with your parents, and the others come and chat on occasion as well. It’s a good feeling, being welcomed with open arms, and now treated as an equal, rather than some child. You’ve proven to be an adult now, both to your family, and to yourself.

It’s all come full circle.
