Chapter 61

A new way of fighting.
Fearsome rider.
A dozen or more zombies following him and about as many behind him but scattered around, not really a good situation to be finding himself with a third of his health and barely any mana.
In the distance, some of the other streets included in this barrier looked free of any threat, and he was pretty sure every hound in hearing range had attacked him already.
A shame he couldn't... No it had little chance of working, but maybe it could be worth a try. John had slowed his jog when he had noticed that he wasn't getting away from danger but running into it. While finishing munching down a candy bar, which was only giving back 10 hp and almost no regen bonus, he got his bike out of his inventory and straddled it.
He would have only one shot at this, and he really needed the time this costly spell would buy him.
Invocation
Squeeeeeaaaaaaakkk!!! Squeeeaaaaaak!!!
"Attack, keep them on you as long as you can," screamed John as he pedaled away as fast as he could in the direction of the respawned zombies.
He died a little when he saw what he wasted 20 hp and all the mana he had left on, forcing him to use the refill of his bracelet to not be caught without any way to defend himself.
Baby Brass Boar lvl 2 creature.
This is a young brass boar, adults are near invulnerable and can flip over a car with their metallic tusks. At this age their hide is still soft, and they cannot fight yet.
He had just summoned a shiny piglet; it was utterly useless in a fight, and the only reason it worked as a distraction was because of its loud squealing, which would stop soon because it was already swarmed by zombies.
John had kept his Saber out and used it to try keeping the zombies at bay while he slalomed between them. He also injected 10mp into the engine, not to advance without efforts but to go faster.
In a manner of a minute the squealing stopped, his summon devoured alive by the zombie horde. John remembered the low level comment on the skill description, he would have to spend days to up this skill for it to be useful.
Of course after years without touching a bike, the inevitable happened, he lost balance trying to parry a zombie and fell to the ground, losing 10 hp and bending the front wheel of his bike.
"Fuck, what do I do now?" he exclaimed.
He put his now useless bike in his inventory and ran to a half destroyed house. He managed to climb on parts of the wreckage at a spot where he hoped the clumsy zombies wouldn't be able to follow him.
There was a steep slope, and a zombie tried to get up as the rest of the horde gathered at the bottom of it.
John took the slingshot out and used the interrupting shot to make the zombie fall down each time it was close to the top. A good plan, but that would only last for as long as he had ammo. The only positive point was that this stalemate allowed his mana and health to slowly recover.
John was still hurt, but with his mana topped, he was casting a spell each time it was full again. Between the spells and metal balls, he had killed his third zombie when he heard a loud roaring sound approaching.
"Fuck, please don't be a boss. Please don't be a boss!"
The source of the sound wasn't a boss or a creature but a machine, one he had heard and seen previously.
On her loud motorcycle and in full armor, Moira was riding toward him while smashing the head of every zombie she passed with her warhammer.
It was the first time he saw her in her real battle outfit, and it was impressive. She was wearing a motorcycle helmet, but it was the only normal item on her. Her whole body was encased in a skin tight, red leather catsuit with plates of armor strapped over it and a white and gold tabard with her Order's symbol on it.
She had her shield over her left arm, which was holding the handlebar, and her hammer in her right hand that she was swinging around with precision and without losing her balance.
"Prepare to die, necromancer!!! Your ridiculous army won't protect you. This place has been purged and sealed, the Cabal will never take roots in here again!" John could hear her scream. The helmet must have had some sort of loudspeaker, as it seemed way louder than should be possible.
Moira was showing all of her incredible power; the bouncy slimes had made a joke of her hammer, but it was the perfect weapon against zombies, and the fight was horribly one sided.
"In the name of the Lady! Purge the Undead, slay the corrupt," she was screaming, activating huge energy blasts that were vaporizing the weak undead when her hammer touched them.
Once close enough, she got off her bike and started cutting a path through the small horde that had trapped John.
John realized that she was not here for him but because someone entered this barrier; his strange powers must have made him enter an existing barrier rather than create a new one.
He immediately removed the hood of his armor and got her attention.
"Newman? How is this possible? How did you lie to us? Are you with the Cabal? Call off those pathetic creatures and get ready to answer for that," she told him once she recognized him.
"Moira, I didn't summon the zombies; I was fighting them and got trapped. I was trying to create a barrier to train, and I had no way to know this was an existing one," he tried to reason her.
Like always when he had low hp, he wasn't looking well, and even without his gaming powers, she would probably see that he was hurt.
In a few seconds, she had cleared the place of two dozen zombies and got to him.
"Why are you here? This place was sealed by my dad after he defeated a necromancer from the Cabal; you should not have been able to enter it. And what is this?" she told him, pointing at his armor.
"I told you about it, I used the skill to create a barrier because I wanted to train. I managed to kill a few of them, but there were dogs, and while beating those, one pulled a huge crowd of zombies. I was hurt and out of power, so I fled up here and kept them at bay. The armor is just a few clothes that I have upgraded with my crafting skill," he explained.
"Why not just get out of the barrier?" she asked.
"It said I couldn't because I was in combat. Maybe it would work if my level was a lot higher than their's, but we were really close. Those things have more health than I do, and it wasn't that easy to farm them," he replied.
She looked at him and removed her helmet. She approached him and kissed his forehead.
"The Lady blesses you!" she said.
John was surprised by what she did but saw that he got 25 hp back, so he felt less stressed about his condition.
"Can you leave now?" she asked him.
He checked, and the skill to exit wasn't greyed out anymore.
"Yes, I can now. You killed all the monster that knew I was here," he told her.
"Let's leave then!" she said dragging him down to her bike. They both got on it, and when she raised her hand, they got out.
They were a block away from John's house and on the road. Once he got off the bike she stopped him before he could leave.
"Wait, you said you had a solution to my problem. I didn't expect to meet you tonight but can't you tell me what it is?" she asked him.
"I will need your cell phone," he told her. She looked puzzled but gave it to him anyway, as her condition left her no other options. John took it and used the link provided by his friend to install the modified version of the app to control his gift.
"Well, I found something, and I think it could help you. You know, get the edge off, but without having to unlock you," he said showing her the egg shaped device.
"You want me to have this inside of me? The belt won't let the wires get out, since it is sealed on me once it is on," she replied.
"It works wirelessly; you control it from the app on your phone. The battery should last a week or two if you do not use it too much, and I think I might be able to recharge it with my powers from time to time," he explained.
"Interesting, but it will have to wait. I cannot open only the bottom of this suit, so I would have to completely remove it, and then you would have to unlock me anyway. We'd better do it somewhere we will be more comfortable," she said with gloom in her voice; John guessed that she wasn't happy about having to wait longer.
"I can get it in without having to strip you. This is one of the things I worked on. With my Move skill I can make things change place even through obstacles if the distance is very little. If I hold it just next to you and use all of what I have left, it should work. It is worth a try, right?" he proposed.
He didn't even need her reply, the look on her face was sufficient.
She got off her bike and sat against it, spreading her legs as wide as she could in her restricting outfit.
John put the toy in his hand and back in his inventory, once he had his hand over her crotch he used advanced Theft and slid the sex toy in her pussy inventory slot. The look of surprise on her face showed him it was a success.
After a few minutes of he showed her the functionalities of the app, she told him to go home and not to go back in the barrier. She would have to investigate to see why it wasn't sealed anymore.
John walked to his house and sneaked in, using stealth at first and then stripping naked once inside, if his mom saw him he would just say he got down to pick something from the fridge or the freezer in the basement.
Mixed results for his second farming session.
