Chapter 30 by Funtimes Funtimes

What do you do? Kill Queen Anna or marry her?

Fear grips you

Your hand trembles at your side as you realize how utterly trapped you are, the weight of her demands heavy on your shoulders. You can feel the intensity of her gaze, reading your every thought despite your best efforts to hide them. As she slowly sways her hips and approaches you, she pulls your hand to her chest with a smile that sends shivers down your spine. "Oh, good king," she purrs, "there is no need to fear me. We will be sharing a bed most nights from now on." But her words only deepen your unease.

As fear grips you tighter, she continues to toy with you, asking if her appearance disturbs you so much that you do not wish to touch her. Her laughter reverberates through the room, shaking you to your core before she reminds you of the night you ravished her and gifted her a child. She runs your hand over her stomach, forcing you to feel the growing bump and reminding you of the consequences of your actions.

Finally letting go of your hand, she announces that she must leave the public eye so she can have your first child in secret. ""But don't worry about that. I am sure we can change that on our wedding night. But first, I fear I must leave the public eye so I can have our first child in secret. We wouldn't want rumors about where it came from spreading. While I am gone, feel free to use my room." she says with a sly smile.

The Queen's face eerily shifts from a creepy smile to a sorrowful frown as she prepares to give a performance for the ages from her balcony. Standing above her waiting people, she shouts out to them all as if she were above them all. "My dear loyal people," she begins, her voice carrying across the crowd. "I know today has been filled with confusion and trials. And now, I must add another trial for you all." She goes on to announce that she will be taking some time to grieve the loss of her former husband in their family's countryside estate. But even in this moment of grief, she will leave behind her most trusted advisors to help with the transition of power. The veiled threat to you, in her words, is palpable as she bids her people farewell and turns to retreat through her private chambers and to the loading zone for her personal carriage.

With a loud creak, the heavy doors of Queen Ana's luxurious carriage swung open, beckoning her to step inside. The polished wood glinted in the sunlight, adorned with intricate carvings and golden accents. Her trusted advisor, a tall and imposing figure with a stern expression, stood by the doorway and watched her every move with a critical eye. His dark cloak billowed behind him in the wind, adding to his intimidating presence.

Your heart pounded in your chest as you approached the carriage, knowing that there would be no reprieve from the Queen's controlling presence as long as her loyal advisor was watching over you. You felt like a prisoner trapped in a gilded cage, constantly under the Queen's watchful gaze.

As she gracefully climbed into the carriage, Queen Ana's confident smile sent shivers down your spine. It was a silent warning, a reminder that she held all the power and that any attempt to defy her would result in dire consequences. You knew that she had left her advisors behind for one reason - to keep you under her control while she went off to secretly bear your illegitimate child.

With a final look of triumph, Queen Ana was driven off into the radiant sunset, leaving you alone with her ever-present spies. Their sharp eyes followed your every move, their hushed whispers filling your ears like an oppressive fog. The weight of their constant surveillance was suffocating, and you couldn't help but wonder if this was how her late husband felt before his untimely ****.

It was surprisingly easy to control both your Kingdom and the Kingdom of Franic. Both Sir Dietrich and you assume that it is so because Queen Ana is working in the background to keep it so, a masterful manipulation that leaves you feeling like mere pawns in her game. You can almost feel her invisible hand guiding every move, pulling strings, and orchestrating events to maintain her iron grip on the throne.

During Queen Ana's ten-month absence, you were given the opportunity to tour Franic's stunning country and its breathtaking ocean views. But your mind was always occupied with the pressing matters of meeting with the Queen's advisor each morning, on the dot, or else risking severe consequences. They sat across from you at a grand mahogany table in the lavish throne room, their presence looming and their demands unforgiving. Together, you pored over endless reports and proposals, trying to make decisions on your own while they scrutinized every move you made. At times, they would offer suggestions or issue orders that you must follow without question - a constant tug-of-war for control as they attempted to fill the void left by Queen Ana's absence and maintain their grip on the Kingdom. Amidst this struggle for power, you also faced internal conflicts within your war council, particularly with Sir Trindon, who aimed to rule the newly conquered lands with an iron fist, executing members of the former royal family without mercy. The Queen's advisor had warned that such actions could lead not only to your downfall but also the downfall of your Kingdom. It was a precarious balance between managing external threats and keeping your own allies in check, all while navigating through treacherous political waters.

You were almost happy when Queen Ana was because it meant that at least you knew where she was, and there was less of a chance she was lurking in the shadow plotting your ****. She returned with her 'handmaid newborn child,' which solved the problem of the mysterious origin of the new child that was around.

As every returning noble before her, she stood in the same spot where she had addressed her people before leaving. The bright sun shone down on her as she spoke, her words carrying weight and purpose. "My dear people," her voice rang out, confident and strong. "I have returned with great news. After witnessing the birth of my handmaid's child, I have decided it is time for a new life in our beloved lands." A hush fell over the crowd as they eagerly awaited her announcement.

"As of today, I am declaring my intention to stand by His Majesty as his Queen concubine for the safety, security, and prosperity of this land." Cheers and applause erupted from the gathered crowd, but amidst the celebration, a feeling of fear crept into your heart. You knew what this meant - her plan was even more solidified now.

After her speech, she entered the castle and closed the door behind her, ensuring their conversation would remain private. "For my wedding present," she began with a mischievous smile, "I request permission to dispose of Sir Trindon."

You bristled at the suggestion. "Why would I ever agree to let you **** one of my loyal nobles?"

The Queen laughed lightly. "Oh my dear, if you believe he is loyal to your family, you are mistaken. That man is only loyal to two things - his own carnal desires and his love for fighting. In fact, I am surprised that you haven't already had him executed."

Confused, you asked her, "Why would I do that?"

Queen Ana's laughter turned dark and cold. "The question is not why you would do it, but why haven't you already? Did you forget about what happened to your father and brother?"

Anger flared inside you at her accusations. "Speak clearly or not at all," you commanded.

The Queen ran her hand over her lips, hiding a sly smile. "Do I really have to spell it out for you, my king?" She paused, waiting for your response before continuing. "Very well then. Sir Trindon wished to make his current wife his concubine and take another wife because she had failed to provide him with a son who would fight alongside him in battle. When he requested permission to do so from your father, he refused because the woman he is currently married to and would be forcing to be his sex toy is your mother's sister. And your father wouldn't have a member of the royal family be slighted so. With no other way of getting what he wanted, Sir Trindon took action secretly into his own hands."
