Chapter 9
by Framewalker
What's next?
Fast-forward a couple of days
"I told you, that I wanted to teach you a bit about swordfighting, right?" Bricio asks the elven beauty who is standing before him wearing nothing at all. Yesterday, they have enjoyed a calm evening together and Elyelen decided once again to stay with him for the night. She just got up and now she gathers her clothes together, while Bricio looks at her expectantly with a smirk on his lips.
"Yeah you did, why?" She answers as she puts her chemise and dress back on, finally hiding her body from his gaze.
"We have to buy you some new clothes for that. You could try it in your dress, but it wouldn't be optimal," the smith tells her.
Elyelen already starts to walk over to the stairs and grins at him. "Come on, then, let's go!" She says cheerfully and quickly walks downstairs into the smithy and outside into the streets, while Bricio tries to follow her. At the front door, he finally manages to catch up with her. He grabs hold of the elf by the wrist and pulls her close against him so he can kiss her cheek softly: "One moment, my love," he chuckles and then kisses her in earnest, pulling her closer to his large frame and wrapping his arms around her waist tightly once again.
Elyelen practically melts into his embrace: "Mm... I missed this..." The smith chuckles happily when he hears these words before leaning forward for another soft kiss which she eagerly returns. Then they break apart again after a couple moments pass.
"Come, let's go," she tells him excitedly and quickly, they go outside into the bustling streets of Nel. Their path leads them towards the east, down the road they already went a couple of days before on their way to the port. There are many different shops along here that sell all kinds of goods from foodstuffs to clothing and tools. Elyelen wanted to grab his hand, but when she tried to, he just shook his head. "Not here," he says in a low voice. He knows that people might see her and get suspicious if he was seen holding hands with his apprentice.
She looks disappointed but doesn't say anything back as she keeps walking next to him while looking at the various stores on either side of the street.
"Look over there - that's a great shop, I know the owner, Doran." Bricio says after pointing out one of the nearby buildings. "He has some really good quality leather trousers and also some shirts. I'm sure we'll find something for you to train in, Elyelen."
"I hope so..." The elf answers quietly, distracted by the clothes hanging up outside the store window. She can tell they're expensive! But maybe it would be worth buying them? They could look nice... And if they make it easier for her to train sword fighting, she is all up for it.
Bricio chuckles: "Well, let us go inside then!" The smith tells her cheerfully before pushing open the door to enter into the building. Elyelen follows behind him as they find their way into a the small shop. It mainly consists of tables on which the different clothes are draped over them. A middle-aged man who seems like he owns this place stands at one of these tables with his back towards them while rearranging a pile of breeches.
"Doran! Long time, no see!" Bricio calls out happily when he sees his friend standing there. He walks over and shakes hands with him while smiling at him broadly. Then Doran turns around and looks over at Bricio curiously: "What's got you in such good spirits today?" The owner asks and smiles warmly back in return. "I haven't seen you in ages and I've been worried about you."
"Oh, Doran... Don't worry! Everything's fine! I just wanted to take my apprentice shopping for some new clothes so she can train sword fighting," The smith says and then points to Elyelen: "This is Elyelen." The elven beauty bows her head slightly as she introduces herself to the shopkeeper for the first time.
The older man nods respectfully to her. "Call me Doran. Now let's see what we can get you. You're tall and slim, but not too skinny..." Elyelen blushes a little when the smith mentions how slender her body is. "I think I know what could fit your body type," he says and walks over to a table with trousers made from leather hanging over it. He picks up one of the pairs of pants and holds them out for Bricio who takes them without asking any questions. They pick out a shirt and a vest as well before they walk over to a room in the back. "Try them on. And let me know if your need anything, okay?" Bricio tells her before she disappears into the room. She quickly steps inside and closes the door behind her while Bricio looks over at his friend with an amused expression.
Doran chuckles: "You've got yourself quite the pretty apprentice!"
"Thank you, Doran." The smith smiles happily: "She's been working hard ever since I found her. She is extremely talented and learns so fast it's crazy. I'm sure she'll be able to become better than me in no time."
Elyelen comes out of the dressing room wearing the new clothes. The dark leather pants and the white shirt hug her body tightly and show off all of its curves beautifully! Her long black hair flows down past her shoulders. She has a small smile on her lips which makes her look even more beautiful... But then she notices that both men seem stunned by her appearance and she starts to feel a heat growing in her cheeks again.
Bricio just grins widely at this sight: "Well? What do you think? Do they fit well? Can you move freely in them?" He asks excitedly as he walks towards Elyelen slowly, causing her heart rate to increase as well when his large form gets closer to hers. "They're very comfortable," the elf answers shyly after looking at him for a moment before turning around to face away from Bricio, trying to hide her blushing. "I can't wait until we get some proper training started..." Bricio chuckles softly, but doesn't say anything else about it before walking over to Doran who is standing behind the counter with his arms folded across the chest. They quickly agree on a price for the clothes and Bricio pays it for his apprentice. Then the two of them leave the store together while talking animatedly to each other.

A blacksmith and his apprentice
A generic fantasy world in which a forbidden love emerges
A human blacksmith and his elven apprentice fall head-over-heels in love with each other, but maybe it's better to keep it a secret for now. While it is not unheard of for elves and humans to be in bed with each other, especially the elves scoff at this kind of behaviour.
