Chapter 7
by Lizzy Lovin
How does it go?
Far better than expected
Reia felt her father's eyes boring into her as she finished telling the story of what had happened, she avoided his gaze, not wanting to seem like she was challenging him. She had no idea what was going through his mind. Then to her surprise he snorted and shook his head in amusement.
"F-father?" Reia asked confused. "Are you... not angry?"
"Reia, you should have known better." His deep voice rumbled. "But no. I did many things at your age that I should have known better of. I am not angry with you. A bit disappointed, but not angry."
That was almost worse to the young wolfess. She'd thought he'd be going into a rage by now. This was something unexpected.
"You have already borne the consequences. The shaman will need to keep a close eye on Fayre but she will not the first to bear such a pregnancy. I see no need that this go further. Next time however if you are to start a fight? Make sure you win."
Reia really wished she could crawl into a hole as she left the tent but at least war wasn't brewing.
