Fan Mail Part 2

As Laura, Ellen and Talia huddled together they passed around their letters to each other. Talia took almost no time to read through each letter, thanks to her boon.

Talia,
Hi. Daphne, Dungeon Mermaid extraordinaire, here. Two letter writing requests in one day for me? Well, who am I to say no to some letter writing? I like getting mail!
So sorry about the Disney movie you got paired with. It’s awful. Totally inaccurate to my experience as a mermaid. The teeth on that Ariel girl are not nearly pointy enough to survive in the actual ocean. And don’t get me started on the clamshell bra. Blech. How is she supposed to inject her eggs into someone with the egg extractors covered like that?

On a more serious note, I’m glad you are getting into the swing of things. The harem works best when everyone involved is happy together (and touching each other’s not-cloacas). That Laura lady seems to be a keeper.
Maybe look for a solution to turn down the transformation fetish? It may be a lot harder to feed that when you get back to the real world, especially if it turns into full-blown trasmuter’s addiction. Saw that happen a couple of times at Transmuter School in college. When you start casting permanent transmutaion spells on yourself just to feel something, it’s probably not going to end well for you.
I feel a little silly after writing all of that, given what I picked out for your present. It’s a potion that will turn you into a full-fledged mermaid for 1 hour. Find a nice saltwater pool and have yourself a ball! Reject Disney and embrace reality! I even flavored it with squid ink so it’ll taste good.

“Get a load of this.” Talia commented and handed over Daphne’s letter. “Either of you want the potion? No way am I drinking it. I’ll end up being a mermaid permanently if I do. I’ll get it next round for sure.”

Lucia looked at the potion. “If you don’t mind Talia, I’ll take it.” Talia nodded. “Though Talia I’m a little surprised you are giving this up.

“I’m just reminding myself that my baser instincts don’t define me. I need to think beyond the next couple days.”

“You think that’s interesting, read this one.” Lucia said, passing Talia, Sally’s letter for her.

Dear Ellen,
We have a problem that only you can fix. The great deflation has occurred and it must be rectified. I need you to get everyone's boobs back up to larger levels. Huh, interesting thought I just had about your TF. Can you get extra bp for yourself and the Allie/Isabella pair by growing each of them individually or do they have to happen together? Might want to experiment with that. And while you are at it grow everyone else. Oh and continue having awesome sexy times with Mark and Laura. You're one of the best subs I've ever seen on this show so keep it up

Laura read the letter next and said, “The Great Deflation? Who comes up with this? I swear Mark’s puns are contagious.” That got a laugh from Lucia and Talia.

Talia looked at Lucia, “If you ever need some BP I can go up a bit, don’t want to do too much too often but I’m down for some occasional BE.” Laura passed around one of her letters next.

Goddess of Desire,

Hello. It is nice to meet you, even if it is only through a letter. Congratulations on your ascension to goddess-hood. Is there a particular way you wish to be addressed? I wish to be respectful of your position. You are only the second goddess I have interacted with, so I don’t quite know the protocol.
As a just ascended minor deity, you may not have thought about your position in the cosmic hierarchy yet. There are several paths to take, if the Scared Texts of Gygax speak true. I hope you continue to embrace goodness and become a source of happiness for the multiverse. Do not turn to the ways of evil, like The Spider.

Lucia chuckled and asked her sister, “Oh yes, Goddess of Desire. Whatever shall we call you. We shan’t want to be disrespectful to your goddess-hood.”

Talia snorted in laughter at Lucia’s teasing. Which only increased, when Laura grabbed Lucia’s dress and pulled her in close. “I’m pretty sure you are supposed to call me Mistress. Though Goddess, I suppose will suffice.” Lucia gulped and flushed. Laura let go of her dress.

Laura was about to grab the next letter in the pile and got distracted noticing two silver ingots, Allie had pulled out. Talia grabbed the next letter in the pile instead.

Dear Talia,

So very hot. You only get better and better over time. Aside from that pesky confession tf at least. So glad y'all finally got a change for that making it more manageable. So happy you are sticking to your guns and not letting anyone mentally change that which is important to you. Physical changes are wonderful but your mind and beliefs are what make you you. Speaking of physical changes might I say that your boobs are looking wonderful these days? I bet Laura is appreciating them. Hopefully you manage to get on better with Ellen/Lucia better soon. I do worry that some of your changes might have been too drastic though, and that Mark doesn't appreciate just how much his words effect you. You are intelligent now. I hope you see the need for caution, but he may not, and this needs to be addressed no matter how hot you find him changing you to be. Think of how Laura must feel, losing the person she cares about by inches. I've included a little toy I thought the two of you might enjoy together, though I'm not sure how long the enchantment will last.

Talia frowned reading Shar’s letter. Lucia asked, “What’s wrong?”

Talia passed Lucia the letter, “I don’t feel like that stuff about Mark is accurate. Do you? Also the bit about Laura irks me for some reason.”

“Well I do think some of your changes have been drastic. I don’t know about Mark or not. Could be right but if you feel like it isn’t especially after Mark fixed you from being a doting to a caring girlfriend, I think it probably isn’t. He is rather good about these things.”

Talia grabbed the next letter from the stack and this one was for Laura. She had just finished reading the letter as Laura came back. Talia said, “Laura, this one’s yours. Personally I would skip it or at least ignore the post script. The choice is yours. I’m going to go have a talk with Cassandra.” Talia stood up and walked away.

Laura looked to Lucia who just shrugged and said, “I haven’t read it either yet.” Laura decided to read the letter.

Laura,
Greetings again. I am extremely happy to see that you are still doing well, even thriving, on your season. Finding not one but two new loves in addition to the growing bond with your sub/sister. Seeing your transformation evolve to Goddess and your very good choice in main pathing it also fills me with joy. I have included with this letter some items I forged for you that should match your outfit, and will even morph along with it. I hope you enjoy them, I know they will look fantastic on you.

Laura paused to look at the items. A pair of armored boots, tiara, a pair of braces all with rose motifs. “These are nice. Thanks Shar.”

Know that as far as I am concerned you are the best girl of your season, no matter what the vote says, and you are very close to becoming my favorite contestant ever. Rooting for you from the shadows,

“Glad to hear that Shar.” Laura thought about whether to continue. Ultimately she decided to finish the letter.

P.S. I am sorely disappointed in you. You started off well, and while protecting your sister and others was laudable you could not keep from being petty and cruel in showing your sister such behavior is okay when you have power, instead of teaching her restraint and mercy. I had thought you better than this, I am very sorry I was wrong.

Laura sighed. “Yeah… I thought I was better too.” Laura looked up and saw Talia over by Cassandra and she was pretty sure she had just heard Talia swear.

“Hey sis, don’t let this host get you down. She doesn’t have the moral high ground. She kidnaps people and forces them into this show and changes them too. Even if you think you made a mistake, that is what it was, a mistake. You let your emotions get the better of you. The hosts chose this role. Maybe it was for a good reason, maybe not. I know Maja is thinking about becoming a host, so one day she can become a producer and hopefully help Astrid . Honestly I hope Maja reconsiders. Here let’s move on to the next letters. Maybe they will cheer you up some.”

I am so very sorry things did not work out with Sam and Aliie for you dear, but I honestly believe that Laura is a better match. I feel your struggle with the horrible speech limitation placed upon you and pray that you find a way out of it, perhaps you could carry a notebook that you might write out your more complex thoughts that the others will stop taking your limitation at face value?

“Thankfully that TF is gone, because it affected my written words too.”

Another thought you might explore is more supernatural costumes and what effect your transformation might have with them. You might even try an outfit that looks like Casandra's and see what happens there.

With the package was a copy of Cassandra’s usual dress and accessories. Lucia set them aside and eyed the warily like they might bite her.

P.S. You were doing such a good job in the challenge, but then you had to descend to petty and gross cruelty when you could have helped them become better people instead. Such a vulgar display showed better than any bad language that perhaps I misjudged your character. I do hope this was a mistake you can rise above and not a true test of your mettle or we now know what you would do given Cassandra's power.

“Hey Shar. Go Fuck yourself. You have no right to talk to me or my sister about being petty or cruel. You host this show. You kidnap people. How many women have you eliminated and done much worse to? Come talk to me about how I go about handling the challenges, which I’m **** into participating in, when you stop being involved with this show.” Ellen grabbed Laura’s last letter and handed it to her.

Laura waited to open it and asked Lucia, “But we could have just skipped them couldn’t we? Or not have taken things so far. Cassandra said that some would judge us on our integrity.”

“Sure Cassandra said that but look at the rankings. You know who showed the most integrity and kindness? Chloe, she helped someone she legitimately loathes for good reason. She refused to partake past that until Brooke pressured her. She got last. How sexy the changes were, is what ultimately appealed to the audience. It’s why you ranked higher than myself, or Allie and Isabella. You changed my… our dad. Also I’m willing to bet that Shar isn’t complaining about Flora’s actions or Talia’s. I’m not saying Talia was wrong to do what she did either but her actions could be worse than yours. She rewrote history. Look at what happened to Asuka because Talia had her history rewritten by Mark. How many people’s lives were ruined because of Talia’s change to Asuka? Talia and Flora also changed people without their consent. Yeah they might be improvements generally but they didn’t know whether the people they were changing considered them improvements or not either. Now let’s read your last letter.”

Dear Laura,

Congratulations on your recently acquired divinity. Just don't turn out like most minor gods. Everyone I've ever met is a jerk. Seriously I'm more powerful than basically any of those minor divinities and the assholes still act like they're better than me just because they are divine and I'm not. I should make my next season minor god assholes just to teach them a lesson. I won't actually since I am a mature person unlike them and that would break my theming. Sorry about the tangent. Um, keep up the sexiness. Love how great you've been at doming Ellen and your and Talia's mutual horniness for each other is adorable. Oh and of course congratulations on confessing your love for the first time and double congrats on it being reciprocated

Laura smiled at Sally’s letter remembering telling Mark that she loved him.

Lucia smirked widely. “Oh? Did you tell Mark first or did he tell you?”

“I told him okay. Just lay off me please. You know I’m not good with this stuff.”

“Fine, looks like Cassandra is asking us to come to the stage. Let’s go.”

Laura stood up and followed Lucia to the stage muttering, “Thanks Sally, that put me in a better mood.”

As everyone dispersed, Hilde sat on the edge of the stage next to Cassandra, and reread her letters, as Cassandra had already given the staff theirs while the challenge went on.

Hilde,

Heya! It’s me, Daphne, your friendly neighborhood Dungeon Mermaid! We may have met at one of those endless professional development conferences they make us go to when our sets don’t have a season going? Ugh, I hated them! Granted, we were in different departments, but maybe?

Anyways, welcome to the “Former Staff Member Harem-Sisterhood Club”! Trinity made up such a cool handshake for us! Getting a nice welcome basket from her was so touching; she was such an inspiration to me growing up. She signed a LaserDisc sleeve for The Matrix Revolutions for me! When my Beloved has us finally settle somewhere, that is going up on a wall, let me tell you.

I hope that a solution can be found for your sister. Eliminations suck. I’m not so arrogant that I think I can solve the problem from afar, but, if you can get the data to us, maybe we can help? Some fresh eyes may do the problem some good. My magic has gotten a lot stronger since I got placed in my Beloved’s harem (and I was already pretty good, if I say so myself).

Enough of me being a bummer, though. This is a time to celebrate! I talked Skye into baking you a cake, like the one she made for me for her wedding. Can you believe she made me a whole cake?

Thanks for the offer to help Daphne, but we’ve exhausted a lot of avenues, unless you are more powerful than a producer which even if your magic has increased I would say is unlikely, then I don’t think you can help. Hilde then moved on to Sally’s letter knowing that she needed to respond to them.

Dear Hilde,

CONGRATULATIONS! You got to be the one chosen to be in the harem. I don't know if you like Mark like Freya does but you could do far worse in terms of masters as you well know. You got a great set of starting transformations as well. I know we disagree on one of them but boobs are awesome. Bigger is always better when boobs are involved. Still I won't start a whole sermon in your letter so we'll agree to disagree. Hope you enjoy your new life as part of Mark's harem and I really hope y'all succeed at doing the thing

“I didn’t know the cake was a gift, Sally. It was just sitting in the staff room. Thanks for the encouragement too.” Hilde eyed the eclair, “Cassandra can you tell me what the eclair does? I’m sort of worried knowing it’s from Sally.”

“Sorry dear, but no.” Cassandra said, shaking her head. “Also while I appreciate you still wanting to spend time with me, you realize your place is with them now right?” Cassandra gestured towards the others in the auditorium. “You’re part of Mark’s harem now. I’m not saying I don’t care about you Hilde but realize I can’t give you special treatment.”

“I know, but this is probably the last time for a long while I’ll be able to just sit with you. Right now in their minds I’m still sort of a staff member still, even if I’m in the harem. That will change and spending time with you will likely be viewed as being your agent or something. So I’m taking the chance while I have it.”

Cassandra smiled at her adoptive daughter. Only Maja and Smug ever called her mom or mother, but Cassandra knew how they felt. After all they were the ones to give her their last name. Cassandra just sat and enjoyed the moment with her. That moment passed quickly as Talia came up to her. “Talia, can I help you?”

“Yeah, I was wondering, can we send something back to the letter writers?”

“Oh, want to thank someone?”

“Quite the opposite. Can you tell Shar to go fuck herself. Saying that she’s disappointed in Laura. She has no right to judge my girlfriend. I’d like to send something over to her season to mess with her.”

Cassandra laughed. “Sorry Talia, Shar and her producer have final say on what comes and goes on her set. So anything you send would be something she approves of. She will hear your words though.”

“Well that’s something at least.” Talia stepped away and sat down in the front row waiting for things to continue.

Cassandra went through her own letters.

You know how much I absolutely loathe transformation gun challenges. Thank you so much for once again showing how otherwise good people can become monstrous when given a hint of power. At least some of your girls had the good grace to rise above their base instincts.

Cassandra took a deep breath in and snapped her fingers, freezing time for everyone but her, Maja and Smug on set. Mostly because those two were too strong to be affected without substantial effort and she didn’t need them frozen. “Shar, I know you watch my season. I’m sure you noticed that the targets were messed with twice. Hell you probably could look up the court case over all the litigation that was done over this. I of course read your letters to the girls. Honestly the only person, who I could imagine you having an issue with, what they did to their target, that I actually chose the target for is Samantha. If you do have an issue with what Samantha did frankly I agree with Talia, go fuck yourself, though I’m pretty sure the only issue you have there was that the TFs weren’t sexy in someway. For the others targets you disapprove of, they were supposed to have been people for them to help. I tried to mitigate the damage where I could, but there is only so much I could do once the lawyers got involved. Then Laura of course got involved which I don’t know if that made things better or worse. Don’t complain to me about not liking my challenge when it was deliberately messed with, by a sadistic man-child, who collects hosts as literal trophies.”

Cassandra decided to finish responding to the letters with time stopped. She noticed Maja and Smug staring down at her from the balcony but they didn’t move to come down.

Dear Cassandra,

Things continue to be awesome with your show. So much sexiness going on and an awesome challenge. The TF gun challenge is a classic for a reason. Really proved your hosting skills again with such forward thinking having Laura send out those impulses to keep things from going out of control. And some people think you're a flawed host just because you keep overlooking exploits or leaving flaws in your transformations. It can happen to the best of. Looking forward to the next round with these awesome two new additions to the harem. Hilde is a joy and Sadie should shake things up nicely.

“Thank you Sally, I’m glad someone can appreciate my work, even if I think you take things a bit too far on your own season. As for exploits or flaws most of the issues have arisen from shoddy work by my producer. I have tried to clean up the problems but sometimes I miss them, or can’t fix them. Also I do not want to be part of Mark’s harem. Seriously this idea needs to die in dragon fire. Luckily that TF is one I actually hand crafted with Maja so it is of excellent quality.” Cassandra moved on to her last letter.

Cassandra,

Please have the courtesy to read this letter in private, preferably in a place warded from scrying. I am sure my season’s producer will have me reply to this in her office, which is similarly warded. I have a couple of reasons for secrecy.

The first reason is that I wish to personally apologize to you for last time. I did not mean to cause that sort of trouble. Having spent more time watching other seasons since then, I decided that you are actually one of the (very few) good ones, even if you occasionally do something worrisome. If you would do me the kindness of allowing me to perform a little penance, have Freya give the attached Scroll of Identify to Mark at her earliest convenience. Hopefully, he will know what to do with it.

“Why would Mark need to identify a magic item?” Cassandra glared up at the frozen Mark sitting on the throne. What have you been up to? Cassandra put the scroll away for the time being.

The other reason is a bit personal. My season’s producer wishes me to take on the mantle of Host after my season is done. She is a strange one, from what little I have seen from other producers. She hates the game even more than I do. I read the pitch for my first season and I need to do it. As a veteran of your side of the show, any advice?

“Get a good lawyer. Do that before accepting being a host. I’ll put you in touch with Zara’s firm. They are excellent and actually cater to the nicer seasons. Sorry but Zara herself won’t be able to help you. She's booked solid. But her firm is great. If you were foolish enough to sign on as host before retaining a lawyer, get one now to mitigate the potential fallout.”

Cassandra unfroze time then said in a very loud voice but not yelling, “Alright everyone please come back to the stage we have things to discuss.”

Earlier up in the balcony. Cassandra passed out the letters to the staff along with the sweets from Sally.

Dear Petra,

It is so unfair that no one is visiting your store. Smug has only recently joined Mark's staff and they've appeared way more than you have. Heck we've seen more of some people that aren't even on the show than we have of you. It's unfair because you are so awesome. I'm going to complain to Mark if no one else has visited your store by the next fan mail. Sigh. Well at least the visit that has happened was awesome. So many cute and sexy outfits. I'm especially happy with that virgin killer sweater on Merida. It suits her amazingly. Seriously though if you have to advertise or drag people into the store. You are part of Mark's staff so go ask him to recommend you or something.

I'll be honest, I did not predict you joining Mark's staff at the beginning of the season. I know it's not the only reason you joined but I have to really admire you seeing some girls you are into and doing what is necessary to make it so you can be with them. Hope you succeed in wooing some of them.

Looking great as always. I know we don't always get along due to our differing beliefs on clothing TFs but I really do love your fashion sense. Speaking of clothes, something terrible has happened. The outfit Freya wore at the slumber party in the first round, which she assured me she likes, was accidentally destroyed. I was hoping you could provide her with another one. Oh and congrats on someone buying one of your special outfits. Hopefully there will be at least a few more before the show ends.

I know how much you like brownies so I hope they meet your expectations.

Maja glanced over at Freya and smirked, “Fret not Sally, Maja has already rectified the issue with Freya’s outfit. Again like my siblings Maja will be holding off on eating your dessert until after this upcoming round. Don’t worry though Maja has magic to keep them fresh. Also don’t worry about Astrid, Maja will make sure to get Astrid some bitcoin to eat. It’s her favorite junk food right now. She says it’s absolutely worthless but makes her hyped up.”

Dear Slevia,

Sorry I didn't write last round. I was a bit busy so I just sent one to Freya for all of you. Excellent job you are doing running that store by the way. I hope you manage to succeed in your endeavors regarding Mark's harem. While I have my complaints about him it is good that you've ended up in the staff of a master kind enough to share the willing women of his harem with his staff. You have very good taste.
