Family Ties

“Katie, I swear I don’t know what’s happening”, Regina stammered. Suddenly Katy stopped moving, frozen again.

“Regina, can…can you control time too”, Kate asked bewildered.

“I…I don’t know.”

“Hmmm”, Katie said as she circled around Katy, poking and prodding the older woman. “She still seems frozen.”

“That’s good right?”

Katie blinked a few times, like the thought just entered her mind. “Yeah..that’s goo…wait…”

Regina looked worried. “What is it?”

“That’s not what I was thinking, well not exactly.”

“What were you thing?”

“I was thinking that this was concerning, not if it was good or bad per se. Then when you said that, the thought just came into my head.”

Regina was confused. “Isn’t that how conversations work.”

“Normally yes”, Katie said flatly. “But this….this was different, I can’t put my finger on it though.”

Regina was crying now, and getting hysterical. “But you can figure it out right?”

Katie blinked a few times again. “Probably, I’m really goo….”, Katie stoped again.

“What…what is it?”

“It just happened again.”

“What, the thoughts entering your head?”

“Yeah….” Katie started. “I…I think…”, she paused for a moment again. “Your brother can control Time….what if…what if you can control minds, or at least thoughts.”

Regina sniffed, “what?”

“Think about it”, Katie said. “Every time you spoke, a new odd thought entered my head like it was **** there. And considering your brother, odd paranormal things happening with your family wouldn’t be too weird. I wouldn’t even have noticed if I was not thinking about it directly.”

“So…I have my own set of powers”, Regina asked completely bewildered. “If can control thoughts, why did Katy move. She’s frozen in time.”

“Well”, Katie started. “None of the dolls have any thoughts of their own anymore, so when you send out a signal, it would be taken as an order. I’m assuming that if you have powers, they’re related to Mark’s, and compliment each other.”

Regina blinked a few times. This was all too much, how did Mark handle this she thought. “That makes sense”, Regina said.

Katie smiled in a rather cute way that Regina always liked. “Good because I’m completely guessing here. We should wait for your brother to get back, he’s the closest to an expert that we’re going to get.”

Regina agreed. She then looked at Ashley and wondered. “Do you think Ashley and powers of her own that she didn’t tell us about?”

Katie shrugged. “Maybe, little good it did for her, she’s frozen now.”

Regina smiled at this, then looked at the Kelly doll at the table. “Kelly, show your boobs.”

Suddenly Kelly seemed it come to life once more and stiffly took off her shirt and bra before freezing once again.

“Wow”, Katie said as she watched what was happening. “Yeah, you definitely had powers.”

Regina still looked shocked, looking at her hands, though she wasn’t sure why. She and Katie looked at each other awkwardly for a few minutes before Katie broke the silence.

“This will require some testing, but if your powers compliment Mark’s, we can use use this to out advantage”, Katie said, with a smirk on her face.

“What? How?”

“Thought control plus time control makes it way easier to make dolls in the future, well action figures I guess. Plus it makes setting up for our business way easier as well.”

Regina smiled again. “That’s seems very beneficial.” She could not help but check Katie out, the girl was in running shorts a tight t-shirt. If she was not Mark's girlfriend, Regina would have been more flirty with her. She always had a thing for Katie but never acted on it as the older girl treated her like a little sister. She wondered how Katie would look naked at point though she had already seen her a few times already.

Katie started to push her running shorts down but then stopped. "Come on Regina..." she shook her head. "We can't mess around."

"Oh right sorry..." Regina said blushing. She tried once more just see what she was dealing with. Katie nearly went blank faced this time as she peeled off her t-shirt to expose the sports bra that covered her breasts. Katie shook her head and gave Regina annoyed look only to go blank face once more and start to push her shorts down.

"Okay...let's not test on me?" Katie said as she forcefully stopped herself and redressed.

"Sorry, sorry...you're just kinda hot..." Regina said blushing.

"Thanks so are you...but let's test this on the dolls?"

"Right, that would be more interesting," Regina nodded.

“Yeah”, Katie said while she looked at the frozen girls. “Come on, let’s test your abilities on the other dolls while we wait for your brother to get back.”

Regina gladly hoped from the table and followed Katie to the garage, excited to see what she can do. Mark was sure in for a surprise when he got back from his first day at work.
