Facts of the Fox

With a heavy sigh you sit up on your bed, your body turning toward the door of your room seconds before it burst open to a frantically running blood red fox. Kyuubi races into the room as if the very hounds of hell were nipping at her heels, one of her numerous tails slamming your door shut just before she leaps into your bed and into your already waiting arms. With her place in your arms secure Kyuubi quickly curls up on your lap, her tails elegantly wrapped around your form as she feigns sleep only moments before two VERY angry people run into the room, “WHERE IS IT!?”

The growling voice of Anko carries through the room like the reverberating hiss of a coiled serpent, her teeth clenched tightly as waves of power roll off her in her livid state. From head to toe Anko is covered in black paint, a messily applied splash of pitch black coloration off set only by her brilliant purple hair and several hundred feathers dotting her form.

Standing just behind her in a very similar condition is Tsunade, the powerful older woman cracking her knuckles soundly as she snarls, “I’m going to make myself a pair of fox slippers when I get my hands on that beast!”

The moment the two settle their eyes upon your body Kyuubi goes into full blown acting mode, her body slowly stirring from her ‘nap’ as she gives a great big yawn before idly cuddling up against your still shirtless form once again. While this act is rather cute and almost any would have their heart melted by the conniving crimson creature’s mannerisms the two women in the doorway are not, both of them looking at the scarlet animal with murder in their eyes as they slowly approach.

Yet, while Kyuubi is their focus they also seem to have lost sight of you, something that gives you the greatest advantage of surprise as you speak with a firm tone, “Anko-hime, Tsunade-hime, calm down.”

Instantly two pairs of eyes turn their gaze towards you, both women missing the playful grin on Kyuubi’s face as they catch sight of your half naked body and the ridiculously embarrassed Toshiro by your side. “Uh…hi Johnny-kun…Toshiro-chan…” Anko mumbles, her gaze trying to turn away but failing as she continues to look upon you, Kyuubi, and a gradually reddening Toshiro.

“Hello to you too Anko-hime,” You say with a slight smirk, your arm allowing more of the blanket to slip from your torso as Kyuubi subtly pulls her tails down to reveal more of your flesh, “Can I help you with something?”

While Anko seems to be caught between being embarrassed as catching you and Toshiro in an intimate moment and begging to join in, Tsunade is under no such reservations. With her body standing tall and whatever control she can muster being used Tsunade turns to you, “John-kun, do you know what that…monster you have beside you is?”

Nodding your head you gently stroke the top of Kyuubi’s head, your fingers making quick work of the rising growl from Kyuubi at the word monster, “Yes, a nine tailed Kitsune, a very rare creature and something that should be protected if I understand right.”

“Be that as it may John-kun, the animal you have with you cased more destruction and death in my world than any other in the entirety of Kami’s creation,” Tsunade says with the tone of a wizened leader, “The Kyuubi is a very dangerous creature…”

“She,” you speak up, cutting Tsunade off and causing her to give you a very confused look, “The Kyuubi is a She and as for dangerous…well, allow me to show you a little bit of what was causing that little problem.” Before Tsunade can say a word you pull Kagehime from the side of the bed, the black cane structure of your Zanpakuto rising up and clacking to the ground with a metallic ring. For a few brief seconds Anko and Tsunade stand perfectly still, their eyes wide and their mouths agape as the Genjutsu placed upon Kyuubi is temporarily played before their eyes, the images, sights, and sounds of the Kyuubi’s bondage playing through their eyes, before their ears, and across their skin for the briefest of seconds.

The moment you lift Kagehime from the ground is the moment both women stager to remain upright, their breaths coming out in heavy gasps as they clutch their racing hearts. “O…Oh Kami,” Anko mutters softly, her throat swallowing loudly as she shakes her head, “That…that makes anything Orochi-teme came up with look like a sweet dream…”

Tsunade, being the more controlled of the pair turns to you with wide eyes and a slightly awed voice, “Is…is that what the Kyuubi saw and felt the night of the attack?”

Instead of answering yourself you turn to Kyuubi, the fox nodding her head gravely before settling her chin upon crossed crimson paws. “Last night I traveled again, this time to an alternate version of your dimension, but I was able to catch it the night the…Yondaime was about to bottle Kyuu-chan into his so…er, I mean daughter,” with a heavy sigh you gently rake your fingers across Kyuubi’s skull, something that elicits an almost purr like growl as you continue your thoughts, “I was able to stop the sealing and snap Kyuu-chan out of the Genjutsu but…given how you said your world ended then I decided to take Kyuu-chan with me. Without here then that ultimate weapon would be useless and it gives that blond haired Gaki a chance to grow up right.”

“I…I see,” Tsunade says with a slight awe, something that quickly passes as she gives you a thankful and loving smile, “Th-thank you John-kun…not only for me village but for Naturo’s sake as well.” Turning from you to a neutrally staring Kyuubi Tsunade’s face hardens, a glare on her features as she speaks through a tight jaw, “And you…I’ll forgive you for the village…that Genjutsu was hell and I wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy…BUT, I will get you back for that little prank you monster, you can bet on it.”

With a playful grin Kyuubi lifts her crimson furred head, her mouth filled with razor sharp fangs opening as she suddenly speaks with a soft and feminine tone, “Bring it on Granny~”
