"There are technically three divine forces involved with the Tower, the original creator, the One True God and the Abyss, but... The only one who is considered a 'God' is indeed the One True God," Lemiel admits reluctantly.

"Indeed so even your angel friend agrees that the Desert Mother is a false Goddess," Talwa declares triumphantly and then continues. "As for those who have laid claim to the title... Let us consider them. You have a Siren with you so you have been to Calumia, did you meet the so called Goddess of the Mermaids?" Talwa asks and Yulia hesitantly nods.

"Did she seem to be a good person in your mind? One who had the best interests of her people in heart?" Talwa questions and Yulia emphatically shakes her head.

"and what of the Weaver? A demon who made themselves the Goddess of the Dark Elves and Driders... She betrayed her kind-" Talwa starts, but Yulia interrupts her.

"No she didn't! We went to the Deep, she helped us save the Dark Elves and The Driders from The Old Mind and the machinations of another Archdemon. I mean she's still a demon, but Liloth did seem to actually care for her people!" Yulia counters and Talwa is momentarily put off balance.

"What, but... Their history said-" she tries, but Yulia interrupts again.

"Their history was falsified, the real traitor wasn't Liloth but her apprentice," Yulia explains and fails to notice that Isalia looks visibly uncomfortable, remembering the revelations about her people's history. Goma gently puts a hand on her back comfortingly. Lemiel and Cherchiel also seem uncomfortable with Yulia's praise for Liloth.

Talwa stands a little awkwardly, trying to figure out how to regain her momentum and after a bit waves a hand dismissively, "Regardless... The Weaver might not have been a good example, but there are countless other examples in the history of the Tower of false gods and Goddesses harming their followers for their own ends, their own megalomaniacal desires. To even be willing to claim the title of God or Goddess you need to be either a liar or suffering from some sort of God complex neither of which spell good things for those tricked by either your deliberate deception or your delusion!" Talwa finishes.

The Desert Mother is a false Goddess, either she's delusional or deliberately deceiving our kind for some goal and history makes it clear that it will end in our ruin one way or another if we let this continue, so we must get rid of her. She's not even actually our mother. I found records while going through the Archives for my job, the temple is older than our existence in this Desert. The Lamia came from somewhere outside the Desert, The Naga as well, though apparently somewhere else. Our ancestors found the temple in the desert already there along with our 'dear mother.'" Talwa explains, "which seems more likely that our progenitor existed in this desert and that we just left the desert at some point to two different locations and then independently found our way back to the temple much much later, or that we were two separate unconnected races living in different areas who eventually arrived in the desert, found this temple and then were told by the temple's delusional or manipulative inhabitant that we were related and her children?" Talwa questions.

"Wait so the Lamia and Naga came from two different places, but both arrived at the desert temple?" Yulia asks in response.

"Yes?" Talwa confirms.

"At the same time?" Yulia presses.

"Close enough to the same time..." she confirms as well.

"That both wandering groups would enter the desert at around the same time and in what I have been assured is a massive location, both find the relatively small temple seems extremely coincidental..." Yulia mentions and Talwa hesitates.

"It... It's still more likely than the alternative," she responds, though she seems a bit uncertain.

"and even if I don't know why or how the Naga and Lamia arrived at the temple so close in time doesn't change the fact they came from elsewhere and also that she's a false goddess and that history shows she's going to be ruinous for our species if we don't get rid of her!" Talwa responds, reaffirming her beliefs and her argument.

"It's pretty clear to me that Talwa is the brains of this operation, not in the sense that I believe the rest of the Fangs are idiots or anything, I don't know them, but it's clear that Talwa's argument is the lynchpin of their whole belief system. They will remain cohesive only as long as their belief in her and her argument holds. If we can dismantle or even shake their belief in her or her belief in her argument enough the Fangs will likely fall apart entirely," Maple whispers to Yulia.

"What are you saying?" Yulia whispers back.

"That if we want to we can destroy them without ****. Simply dismantling her argument if you can or doing something to discredit Talwa specifically might be enough. Alternatively we could still just beat them all up, that would definitely be the preferred answer from our hosts in this Tomb at least," Maple answers.
