Exposure

"Help!" cried Gretchen, but most of the girls had already left the locker room to go into the gym and wait for the bell that was going to ring any second. "Anyone!" Gretchen's fingers were stuck fast right up against her scalp.

Suddenly, Gretchen saw smoke. She did not know it, but Janis set off a smoke bomb in the shower. A few moments later, the fire alarm went off. "FIRE!" someone yelled. "The whole gym is going up!"

Gretchen ran from the shower to the locker room, which also had smoke. She ran out of the locker room into the school hall way just as dozens and dozens of students were emptying the classrooms, following their fire drill instructions. They all saw the naked Gretchen with her hands in her hair, and Damian had a camera and was taking photos.

Gretchen screamed and crouched down. A teacher came and threw a coat over her and ushered her off.

A couple of days later, Gretchen returned wearing a wig and very quiet and cowed.

"One down, two to go," said Janis.

"Next up, Karen," said Cady.

"That halfwit shouldn't be hard to trick," said Damian.

Karen had no idea what was in store for her.
