Explore the palace

Liandra decided to explore the palace. She ran through the corridors, reveled in the light from the mana stones and traversed the walkways, moving from tower to tower. When she looked at the city from so high above, it looked even more beautiful. She had heard the city was named “Nightglow” and it truly was a fitting name. The manastones colored Nightglow city in all the colors of the rainbow. It was rather poetic, really. The people of Nocternia, who lived in perpetual night, had found light in the darkness. It was almost like they desired the light far more then her own people in Luxius. She experienced daylight every day, it was not really that special to her. These people never had even known a single day of sunlight and such they appreciated it far more, had a far greater reverence to the light.

While Liandra was marveling the view of Nightglow city, a man suddenly ran past her. She turned around and saw him hide in one of the nearby rooms. She was about to ask him why he was hiding, but she was interrupted by a mature woman following him.
“Excuse me, lady.” The woman said, “have you perhaps seen a man run through here.”
Liandra looked behind the woman at the door where the man was hiding behind. The door opened a little and the man took a look outside. He made a gesture for Liandra to be silent and closed the door again.
