Explanations?

Janey was able to sneak out the backyard, knowing most of the neighbors had seen Missy's naked body yesterday. A fact that Missy wasn't to happy about, but it was necessary for their meeting. Missy packed a bag and had to climb out the bedroom window and down a trellis to remain hidden in the backyard. They made their way to a small park between their houses just half a block away. It would be deserted this early in the morning. They quickly found each other and hugged.

"I'm so sorry about yesterday." Janey said.

"Lets just try to figure out what's going on." Missy said.

They broke the awkward embrace and sat in the grass behind a building. They retraced the events of their morning to see how long it took for them to be naked. It seemed that no matter how much they wore, everything would disappear within three minutes of being exposed to sunlight. Did this mean they could wear clothes at night? What about the shade? They would soon find out as Missy opened the bag she brought and took out some clothes.

Both Missy and Janey took turned wearing an article of clothing and stood in the shade, recording the results. They then experiments on whether if bring partially record to sunlight was different, putting the clothed portion of their body in the shade and in the sun. In the end, they found out that direct sunlight on any clothed portion would disappear within three minutes, but would last up to four if at most 10% was in the sun. If the clothed portion was in the shade, it would last five minutes.

The last test was a blanket. They held it above their heads to see how long it would last. It disappeared within the minutes, but then they tried it again, but fully clothed. The blanket was fine, but their clothes disappeared in five minutes. The blanket then disappeared the minutes later.

"Interesting, it seems like anything that is shielding our bare skin is the first to go. Followed by the rest. " Missy explained.

"That is what you asked for!" A booming voice suddenly sounded.

"What was that?!" Janey asked, covering her body.

Used to covering much more, Janey was almost scared when her arm didn't hit any breast flesh until she pressed it to her body. Missy, on the other hand, was having trouble trying to figure out how to hide her generators chest.

"There's no need to hide from me. I mean you no harm. In fact, I'm the one who granted your wishes." The voice said.

"Are you some sort of genie?" Janey asked.

"I wish we were in our original bodies!" Mossy shouted.

When nothing happened, they both shrugged at each other.

"Was worth a try, I guess." Janey said.

"I am not a genie or something so...impractical. No, I am the guardian of the universe, and I bore witness to the events that transpired yesterday, and chose to use my powers to help you." The voice explained.

"House is making us nudists and swapping our bodies helping?!" Janey asked.

"I only listened to your wishes and made them come true." The voice said.

"Oh no." Missy said.

"What? I didn't wish for this!" Janey said.

"No, but I sorta did..." Missy explained.

"What?! YOU did this to us?!" Janey said, reaching out to strangle Missy.

"I just wished that you would know how I felt yesterday. That's all!" Missy explained.

"Which is why you swapped bodies." The voice said.

"But why are we naked? I just wished that things would be better between us, and that I'd do anything to make that possible." Janey said.

"Which is why I made sure you would be able to be naked like Missy was yesterday. However, I didn't realize my magic would affect you both the way it did. " the voice explained.

"What do you mean?" Missy asked.

"I only intended for Janey to be naked. However, my magic couldn't discern the difference between her consciousness and her body. So, it affected both. I'm sorry." The voice said.

"You fucked up? What kind of all powerful being are you?!" Missy cried.

"The kind that's never seen Humans before. Most other beings in the universe are either pure energy or have no discernible difference between their psyche and physical state. They would have transformed into each other, not swapped consciousness." The voice said.

"Okay, so how do we swap back?" Missy asked.

"Remember the last part of your wish?" The voice asked.

"Oh. Until you know what I felt yesterday, I wouldn't forgive you." Missy explained.

"And there is your solution. However..." The voice said.

"What?" Janey asked.

"Well, with the magic the way it is, either one of you or both of you have to be degraded as Missy was yesterday." The voice said.

"Not again!" Missy whined.

"And I gave you three days to complete the task."

"We're gonna be stuck like this for three days?!" Janey cried.

"Actually, if you fail to meet the requirements of the wish, the changes will be permanent."

"PERMANENT?!" The girls said as one.

"You girls already found out how the nudity enforcement works. You should be able to get through this with no problems." The voice assured them before disappearing.

"Ok, that was weird, but we need to figure out what to do today." Janey said.

"Yeah, and I think I have a solution." Missy said
