Explanations

"Olga..." Ritsuka says as he holds her, the rest of the team gathering around. "I thought you died."

"That's cause she sort of did, technically." Da Vinci said, making Ritsuka look up.

"What?" Ritsuka said, looking at Olga closely. He hadn't noticed it before, getting lost in the moment and all... but Olga was shorter. She must have lost a good half a foot, but it wasn't just that, she also looked... well, less stressed. as though all the stress had suddenly not affected her body. Though she started looking grumpy as Da Vinci coughed to resume her explanation.

"When Da Vinci was hurled into CHALDEAS, she still had her body." Ritsuka nodded, realizing he had probably given her one with the earrings. "During this, we were able to get a lock on with a Rayshift. Unfortunately, it seemed only her Soul and Mind were being rayshifted back, meaning her body was caught up in the insane power of the artificial world. Had she rayshifted back like that, she would have simply ceased to be." Olga shuddered at the thought, Ritsuka feeling the same, though it must be worse for the director.

"Fortunately, you have the unparalleled genius of Da Vinci on your side!" The renaissance man-turned-woman boasted dramatically, then paused for some applause that never came. "I had considered the possibility that Olga might have died in the explosion, so I had Roman fetch one of my pet projects I had been working on-" 'one of many' Romani thought. "The Da Vinci-chan Artificial Body. As much as I'd love to go into the specifics, I'll spare you the magecraft-babble and just say that I had designed it as a back up body for myself in the event my own saint graph wouldn't work. After getting it into one of the remaining working rayshift pods, I used the rayshift lock on to direct her into the new body, using my mastery of Magecraft to bind her mind and soul to her new body. In summary-"

"She's an adorable robo-girl!" Gudako interrupted, picking up Da Vinci in Spite of the Director's protests. She managed to elbow Ritsuka's sibling in the face, but she didn't regret her decision to do it. She never did.

"We spent some time modifying it so you could tell it was her." Mash chimed in, before looking at Gudako. "She slowed down the process trying to dress her up in different outfits..." she paused to turn to Da Vinci. "and Ms. Da Vinci needs to stop enabling that." The brilliant Italian smiled innocently.

"Well, I'm still happy you're alive." Ritsuka said, looking up as Olga walked over two him and grabbed him by the collar.

"You're helping me destress, now!" She then begins dragging him out of the room, Mash following quickly behind.
