Explaining the Hotel

Cassiel claps her hands dramatically, and begins her explanation. "Hello everyone, welcome to the Harem Hotel! I'll be your Host! My name is Cassiel, but you can feel free to call me Cassie or Cass if you prefer!" She gestures at herself and performs a slight bow, before continuing her explanation. "Harem Hotel is an interdimensional reality show where, each season, a selection of contestants vie for the affections of the season's Master. This season, though, is our Honeymoon Hotel special, meaning that the lovely newlywed couple" Cassiel gestures at Henry and Jane. "are actually going to be co-masters of a shared harem! You'll be competing for status within the harem; winners will be rewarded with favorable positions within the harem, and losers will find themselves in unfavorable ones. Throughout the season, each of you will be transformed to better suit-"

She's cut off by Kate's voice, which is filled with indignation. "Transformed? Like hell you're doing anything to me! Don't you know who-"

Cassiel interrupts her in return, talking over her rant. "Thank you for volunteering to help me demonstrate, Kate!" She snaps her fingers, and Kate's voice suddenly falls silent. Her eyes bulge with shock, fear, and anger as her mouth disappears. She touches her face, finding only smooth uninterrupted flesh where her mouth should be. Cassiel ignores her distress and continues. "As I was saying, throughout the season, each of you will be transformed to better suit the Masters' tastes. Your success will be measured by Victory Points, or VP. VP can be earned in challenges, or by engaging in affectionate and/or sexual activities with the Masters. For this season, VP earned from focusing on one Master will be subject to diminishing returns until you earn some from engaging with the other. Meanwhile, VP earned from activities involving both of the masters will be subject to a substantial multiplier. At the end of each week, anyone below a certain VP threshold will be Eliminated, and subject to an extremely harsh negative transformation. For the first week, that threshold will be zero, but it will rise each week. At the end of the season as a whole, if anyone has over 100 VP, then whoever has the highest score will be granted a Wish. The Wish is subject to a handful of restrictions (for example, you can't wish to leave the harem), but beyond that is capable of just about anything. There's a bit more to the rules that I'll explain as we go on, but for now that should be enough to get you up to speed. Are there any questions?"

There's a brief pause, before Lace speaks up. "Yeah, I don't want any part of this Chauvinist bullshit, how do I resign?"

"Unfortunately for you, participation is mandatory. You may forfeit, but if you do, be warned that you will be subject to summary Elimination, which will not release you from the harem, and will result in a transformation that is likely to undermine your personhood, such as being turned into a mindless drone. Do you want to forfeit?"

Lace looks about to explode with anger, but she glances at Kate's mouthless face and reigns herself in. "... no."

"Great! Now unless there are any more questions, I'd like to go over the first round of transformations!"
