Experiment, of course.

Andrew put a hand on Ross's shoulder. "Now that you're thinking clearly, why don't we take these beauties for a test drive?"

Ross blinked. "Test drive?"

Andrew was already approaching the professor golem with a script. "Let's see what Professor Madison is like."

Before Ross could object he had placed the script in the golem's mouth and had two fingers on its forehead. One word later, its flawless body tightened and reanimated, the light returning to its eyes. It sat up in the desk and looked at them eagerly.

"Hi!" she said with a grin. "Are you guys students too? I just transferred here."

"Madison?" Ross asked tentatively.

"What? No!" she laughed. "I'm Erica!" She stood and walked up to Ross, offering her hand. Ross and Andrew introduced themselves and she enthusiastically shook their hands.

"It's nice to meet you! Are you physics majors too? I- oh my gosh, a golem!"

She jumped with surprise when she saw the limp frame slouched forward in a desk. She walked over and pulled its head up by the hair to examine its face.

"Is it yours? It's so pretty!" she exclaimed. "I've heard about golems, but this is the first time I've ever seen one up close. It's weird how limp it is."

Ross and Andrew were speechless. The professor had the same amazing mid-thirties body in the same professional attire, but her entire demeanor had changed. The formerly calm, collected body now had the bubbly giddiness of a college sophomore. Watching her manipulate Madison's body like a ragdoll had Andrew more aroused than he'd ever been.

"You think these things could really pass for human?" Erica said as she poked its cheek. "It feels human, but I can't imagine being convinced by it. It's so fake-looking!"

"Uh, yeah. It looks more real when it's got a script," Ross stammered.

"Oh, cool! Do you guys have a script?" Erica dropped its head back onto the desk and whirled around. "I wanna see! What have you got?"

Andrew held out two scripts, one of which had been intended for the professor. "Uh, just a default one and a professor one."
