Jess feels really badly about how rude she's always been to me, and will never stop trying to make it up to me. She doesn't care what anyone else thinks of the situation. She only wants my forgiveness. Anything I request of her seems reasonable to her and she will feel temporary relief from her guilt when she obeys me. Whenever she sees me, she will ask me if there's anything I need or that she can do for me.

Jess suddenly returned to your doorway, looking very friendly. "Hey, I'm about to head out to the grocery store. Can I pick anything up for you, or do anything for you?"

"No, I'm good." You say, watching her frown slightly and then perk back up.

"Okay, well just let me know if you change your mind! Oh! You may need my number. Here." She gives you her number, waves, and leaves.

You can get used to this power, you decide. But then you have a momentary vision of her becoming a crazy obsessed stalker, **** for relief from her guilt.

Jess has a big crush on me, and genuinely wants me to be happy, but she would never trust herself to make the first move. She knows I'm innocent in all of this and would never hold any of this against me. She very maturely and responsibly understands this as her problem and will always be able to cope with that.
