It took a while, but you immediately take the book out the bin after passing it later in the day.

Luke may have dismissed it as junk, but that doesn't mean you should too. Neither of you had even wrote inside it, though that doesn't stop the fact that you were interested in it before.

Turning it over in your hand, you decide that maybe you should test out the book to see if it actually does work. After all, neither of you have evidence that it doesn't...so perhaps you can test one rule out. Wether it ends up working or not, then at least you'll then know.
