Everyone but Cora

Cora quickly left the room, hoping that Peebee was the only one who took part in Jaal's crazy holiday idea. She should have known that Peebee would jump at the chance to take part in such an immature and inappropriate event. Hopefully the others would see things her way.

But not Liam and Suvi apparently.

Once again shielding her view of their bodies as best she could, Cora let her disappointment show. "Seriously?"

"I could say the same to you," Suvi said unashamedly exposing her body. Cora was briefly surprised by her, Suvi had always been somewhat eccentric but Cora would never have guessed she would be this bold. "Why are you still dressed?"

"Uh, because this whole thing is stupid and demeaning." Cora said still trying hard not to look at their bodies.

"Says you," Liam piped in. "Everyone else is on board. Peebee, Gil, even Lexi. Everyone's doing it."

Even Lexi. Now that really took Cora off guard. Was everyone else really on board with this? Suddenly it felt really weird being the only person in the room that was wearing clothes. No, that was crazy. There is no way that Cora would walk around the Tempest in the nude.

"Why would you even go through with this?" Cora asked, with her hand still up.

"Two reasons;" Suvi said. "First off, it's important to understand the Angara's culture and traditions if we're going to live here. Being a part of this holiday is a huge first step."

"And the second reason?" Cora asked.

Suvi just shrugged. "It's kind of fun. You should try it."

"No!"

"Well, could you at least put your hand down?" Liam asked. "You're making everything weird."

'I'm making everything weird?' Cora thought to herself. 'Everyone's walking around naked and I'm making it weird?' Still, she did feel out of place enough that she decided to lower her hand and look at them properly.

To no surprise, Liam was well built and fit. He'd have to be to do the things he does on a regular basis. Despite herself, Cora couldn't stop from taking the quickest of peaks at his lower half. 'No question why he was so willing to expose himself' Cora thought cheekily. Surprisingly, she found herself thinking the same thing about Suvi. Despite being a scientist and having no reason to keep fit, she had a stellar body.

And they were so relaxed about the whole thing. They weren't embarrassed in the slightest. Maybe Cora had given up on this holiday a little too soon?
