Everyone’s gone

Ashley gulped as the rest of the women managed to leave meaning she was alone with Cortez, James, and Ken. This made Ashley feel more embarrassed somehow as she had no one to support her.

“S-so… uh… d-do you want hors d'oeuvres?” Ashley asked.

“Don’t mind if I do,” Ken said.

“Sure,” James said.

“I will if they do,” Cortez said.

Ashley nodded as she headed to the kitchen, turning her back to the guys. She could hear Ken whispering to James. “Damn, Ashley’s got cakes.”

“Come on, man. Be a little respectful,” James said. “She outranks you any day.”

Ken nodded. “Sorry, **** of habit.”

Ashley smiled a little at James coming to her aid a bit, still embarrassed she had to do this. She came back holding a platter of meat, cheese, and crackers. “Sorry… this was all I could find…”
