Even though it sounds scary, I want to find the basement.

You find the door to the basement just outside the kitchen.

You're thirsty, after all, it's been hard work running all over this huge house (you wonder how a 92 year old could do it!) and wonder if it would be OK to get a drink.

But no, you're a professional, and you know that rich people can get really pissy if anyone touches their stuff. So best to leave it, even if it's only a glass of water.

You walk down the stairs to the basement to a landing - because of course there's a landing - and as you turn the corner, there's a door.

And it's locked.
