Even better

Several minutes later, Sarah, Katie, and Christa were climbing back out of the back of the cop car and staring at Sarah's car. "I can't believe no one stole it," Katie said smiling.

"Yeah," Sarah agreed, "the keys are even in the ignition."

"Alright," the cop said, "and Christa," he smiled at her, "don't worry, these are going to be private. They won't end up online. I would hate to ruin your reputation."

"Thanks?" Christa said unsure if she liked what this meant.

"Also, take this," he said handing her a card, "if you get pulled over or something, give me a call. I can try to help you out, make up some story, like you got mugged and I have already filed a report."

At this, the girls all brightened up. They just got the perfect way to get out of trouble while they have their fun, even if the experience did shake them up a bit. Christa looked at the card. "So your name is James?" she asked him.

"Yeah, guess I never introduced myself," he laughed nervously as he got back behind the wheel of his own car, "be careful!" and closing the door, he drove away.

Now 1 pm, there was still a lot of daylight left, and much driving to be done. "Alright, let's get moving," Katie said, "That set us behind schedule. No more stopping for dares, understood?"

"Sure," Sarah said getting into the passenger seat once again.

"It is still my turn right?" Christa asked.

"Yeah," Katie said, putting the car in gear and continuing their journey.
