Even a goddess has a weakness...

"Seriously, I've already won!" Goddess of Shadow said as she extended her demon wings and flew up into the air a few feet off the ground. "I could just smite you where you stand, and nothing will change!"

"And what if I was thrown into the mix?" Glorious Victory asked as she landed next to the group.

"Please!" Goddess of Shadow laughed, "You couldn't beat me back in our timeline. What makes you think you have a chance this time, Tenko?"

The Present Tenko, who had been hiding behind a low brick wall after Goddess of Shadow let her go, peeked out from her hiding spot at hearing her name. She looked over at Glorious Victory in shock, looking the heroine up and down as she noticed that the latter had the same hair and facial features as her. "This... This has to be a coincidence..." she whispered, eyes going wide.

"Because a hero will never turn her back on those who need them!" Glorious Victory said, causing Tenko to gasp. That was totally something she would have said!

"... You really are still a child, aren't you, Tenko?" Goddess of Shadow asked flatly.

"Don't you talk that way to her!" Kumiko snapped, "She's not the one going on an over glorified temper tantrum, is she?!"

"That's yo-"

"I will never become you!" Kumiko shouted, "You and I are not the same and will never be the same!"

Goddess chuckled briefly before shaking her head with an evil grin. "That's right, we never will be the same. I'll be punishing the world for stabbing me in the back, and you'll be dead."

"Wanna bet?!"

At the sound of the voice behind her, Goddess of Shadow let out a small noise of confusion before feeling her staff being yanked out of her hand, turning around to face... Kumiko?!

"What the actual hell is -" Goddess of Shadow began to ask, looking between the two Kumikos. Suddenly, she smirked evilly in realization. "Oooh! So Kitty figured out his dormant abilities, hmm? And here I thought I just needed to kill and resurrect him for him to learn his shape-shifting."

"Wow, did you really need to Mufette's intelligence to figure that out?" The Second Kumiko quipped as she ran off, climbing onto a moped and driving off with the staff in her hands.

"Oh ho ho..." Goddess of Shadow chuckled darkly, "I think I know what meddlesome marsupial I'm starting with first. I'll deal with you losers shortly."

With that, Goddess of Shadow flew after The Second Kumiko, purposely flying slower than the moped to enjoy the thrill of the chase.

"Excuse moi fair askéng, but eez la plan steehl wairkeng?" Mufette asked the group in confusion.

"Yes it is!" The First Kumiko said with a nod, "It's like we discussed. Your powers and Chimera are stuck in Goddess of Shadow, and that staff is the only way she can extract them from herself and store them back in that crystal tip. So, if we trick her into extracting the powers back into her crystal, then we can get them all back when we destroy the crystal. And the best way to do that is to show Goddess the negative sides to our powers."

"Correct." Curb Stomper said, "If Goddess of Shadows took our powers, then there's an extremely high probability that she stole our weaknesses too."

"How can I help?" Tenko exclaimed as she came out from behind the wall, much to the surprise of the others.

"Look, Kid." Stryker said, shaking his head. "It's bad enough we're risking our own necks here, but -"

"I'm the one responsible for that Kumiko turning evil!" Tenko interrupted, "I'm helping!"

"Wait a second." Glorious Victory said as she approached her alternate past self, "I apologize for the question in advance, but did you by any chance get hit by a meteor while bathing in tomato juice?"

"Yeah, a few -" Tenko gasped in shock, "That's how I get my superpowers?!" She squealed in amazement. A second later, her smile faltered a bit as she admitted, "I mean, I was expecting something like I got hit by a magic bolt of lightning during a freak hurricane or something, but..."

"Listen, Tenko!" Glorious Victory said as she placed a hand on the younger Tenko's shoulder. "We have a special ability that can only be used twice in our lifetimes. I already used mine up, but if you have your powers, we can use it to finally stop Goddess of Shadow once and for all! Are you in?"

"You bet your ass - I mean my ass - I mean... Hell yes!" Tenko exclaimed in excitement.

"Now that that's settled, we better get the plan going before Goddess realizes she's chasing the real Kumiko and not me!" The First Kumiko said, shape-shifting herself back into Kitty. Turning to Osaka, he said, "Now, we know Chimera's weakness is fire, so we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. We'll start with Osaka first. What is the weakness of The Guardian Devil?"
