Chapter 11 by ledergmayne1

What next?

Evaluate your situation

You let out a roar to signify your complete and utter victory over a hero to the entire forest, your body shuddering as it is engulfed in a warm glow. It seems that successfully spreading your seed also grants you experience. Basking in the fleeting light that momentarily engulfed you, the radiant sensation is interrupted as a slap is delivered right across your jaw, barely leaving a nick upon your scales. Moving your attention to the shivering wreck beneath you, your eyes are greeted with the lovely sight of a snivelling human healer in the nude and staring up at you with absolute contempt raging in her blue eyes. You savour the sight as you pull out of her, forcing her to hide a slight moan with a hand over her mouth, her dishevelled blonde hair messily covering her face.

Still looming over her and quite literally hit with your first ever proper post nut clarity across the face, you actually take stock of the current situation. There was no way she could naturally recover enough health to escape your lair, especially with the surrounding difficult terrain. However, you know that she was capable of casting some sort of healing magic with her staff, going to keep that away from her. Not to mention the possibility of any wyvernlings you sire with her potentially dying due to her currently weak constitution. Quite the conundrum indeed.

You felt the piercing eyes of the healer burn into your side as you begin pacing in front of her, deep in thought. If you were much smarter, you could probably utilise tools along with the crafting skill to improve your lair and strengthen its security against troublemaking heroes. If you were smarter, you could have prepared a dungeon of sorts to store any captive women you got your claws on. If you were smarter, you could come up with schemes to defeat those who have stepped all over you. If you were really going to achieve your dream of truly becoming something grand, you really needed to grind out more levels. Well, you could not be too hard on yourself, today was the first time you succeeded in anything... If you were smarter, you could easily solve all the issues with your current situation. Despite having just recently leveled up, you feel about as clever as you did a hundred respawns ago. Perhaps there was an increase to your intelligence stat but it must have been so miniscule that it barely affected you.

As you continued to aimlessly wonder your lair, you decided to take note of any particular terrain attributes in the place you called home. Might as well put your current brain to use. While it may be wooded and covered, it was still out in the open, anyone could potentially stumble upon your little operation despite the low chances. At the very least, the surrounding thorns and bushes would discourage even the most stubborn adventurers, no one wants to take their chances with that much difficult terrain. At the centre of your lair stood a large lone tree slightly inclined on a lump of dirt. Vines also hung from most of the trees here, perhaps they could come in useful as some sort of improvised rope. Your train of thought is interrupted as your foot bumps into the healer's staff and the rest of her "gear", her torn clothes and a small satchel. Grasping the bag in your mouth, a few of her personal items begin to spill out. Let's see here, two mana potions, a single health potion, a blanket, an old book with some odd symbol engraved and some rations.

"Well that wasn't very useful," you thought to yourself as you pile it up onto your newly growing hoard.

Looking around, you decide to just use whatever's at hand to temporarily restrain your new captive. You were eager to go out and improve yourself already but there was the potential of your captive escaping, so makeshift bindings will suffice for now. Turning to a tree on the outskirts of your lair, you climb up and yank at the thick vines which hung from it. While you have grown larger, your claws are still not the most dexterous as you pull at the dangling vines. As you begin, a bar appears before you with the words "harvesting" above it. Quite a shock, you think you have seen heroes do something similar but were not aware that monsters were capable of it too. Today brings many a new surprises. The bar seems to only fill up everytime you claw at the vines, thus began the arduous mind numbing six minutes of slapping the vine repeatedly to complete the bar. Finally, it culminates in you receiving about ten feet of vine, what a scam.

After repeating the process for about thirty minutes, you felt that you had enough rope to restrain litte miss healer. She eyes you suspiciously as you approach, the length of vine slithering across the floor from your jaw. Her icy blue eyes widen as, in a flash, you leapt forward and slung the rope around her. There was an attempt to resist the bindings as you clumsily wrap the top of her body against the Grand Tree which stood at the centre of the lair. You decided to call it the Grand Tree while you were vine harvesting. Moments afterward, you then proceeded to tie up her limbs, tried to anyways. After what felt like an hour, you were somewhat satisfied with the results. She's seated up against the tree with all her limbs poorly restrained, no way for her to escape now surely. Thinking ahead, you also pop her last healing potion down her throat to ensure she remained healthy enough to carry the life you pumped into her.

"Glk! Glk! Aww- what the fu-" was all the words she could get out after downing the health potion as you tossed her blanket carelessly onto her. Would not want her freezing herself into an ice cube before finishing her pregnancy, definitely not after all this back-breaking work and thinking.

So, "Mighty Dragon", where to now?
